Hearing this makes me realize how much better the books are than the movies, especially the first book. If they would have actually made it the way it is in the book then I would have loved it even more.
I feel like this statement is a phenomenon experienced by the readers especially. Thing is that books have to be interpreted for screen, because there are people who’ve never read it and have no background knowledge. Also in general people don’t like to watch someone monologue. For some people the movie is their only experience with the work. But alas I am also a book reader and preferred the books to the movies. But what I can say is the movies really were a vibe. I liked how they did the color effects that characterized each movie as a different book.

You should read The Host. She was inspired to write it while driving through the American Southwest. It’s a completely different genre and positively amazing.
She’s an awful writer and all but the last two movies suck imo. Though she’s amazing at giving interesting lore to side characters and never doing anything with it

I read Twilight when the book was released in 2005 and i loved it, but this audiobook is pure GOLD!!! I enjoyed every second of it! The rain and the voice created the perfect ambiance! I'm so ready to start a new book!! THANK YOU!!!
I DID IT! I just finished the 16 hours over a 3 day stretch teaching classes in between... I got to the very end (I loved the final message, apparently Im one of the favourites! 😍 haha) and it has been the best and worst experience cos the emotions are intense! I never read the book but watched the movie when it first came out yeeeeears ago as a young teenager... but I wasnt paying attention to the story. Now I get the hype and Im totally obsessed. Sure people say its cringey etc, but seriously who cares when the story is this heartwrenching. I literally felt every emotion personally like a madman's rollercoaster throughout the whole book, and it was ONLY this good because of the way you read it. The slowness, the rain, the calm voice, your accents and inflections and everything, it was SO well done!! I would never have felt like this if I had read it myself. It's now 4am and I cant sleep and have to go to the next book because Im so messed up about what happens! Thank you SO much for the massive work you put into making this, I for one am so very grateful!

Oh my gosh. 16 hours! This is an absolute dream. This reading alone will carry me for weeks at the very least. I dont even like Twilight, have no interest in it, but I will listen to anything you read, even if it was the schematics for a Boeing jet's engine.
This is the only story telling that actually works putting me to sleep and helping me have good dreams. I've tried many others. This is the only one I can rely on.
This is perfect to listen to with the rain. You can close your eyes and be in forks. Not imagining the rain but actually being in the rain. Since it’s raining in the book it’s pretty soothing.
I really love that the rain is irregular, that the sound is loud so you can really feel it in surrounds sound! I appreciate that we have thunder and that it's not overpowering. And lastly, you have a great voice and tone. it's very clear and articulated. You can feel the feelings you each phrases!
