Hearing this makes me realize how much better the books are than the movies, especially the first book. If they would have actually made it the way it is in the book then I would have loved it even more.

I feel like this statement is a phenomenon experienced by the readers especially. Thing is that books have to be interpreted for screen, because there are people who’ve never read it and have no background knowledge. Also in general people don’t like to watch someone monologue. For some people the movie is their only experience with the work.
But alas I am also a book reader and preferred the books to the movies. But what I can say is the movies really were a vibe. I liked how they did the color effects that characterized each movie as a different book.

The British accent makes it more soothing added with the rain sounds falling lightly in the back, he low key has the perfect voice for Edward if they didn’t have Robert do an American accent of course.

The books are so much better than the movies. The movies are like camp parodies. Stephenie Meyer is such a good storyteller. Thank you so much for reading this!
You should read The Host. She was inspired to write it while driving through the American Southwest. It’s a completely different genre and positively amazing.
She’s an awful writer and all but the last two movies suck imo. Though she’s amazing at giving interesting lore to side characters and never doing anything with it

@theladystoryteller I don’t own the books. Could you please explain to me a small detail regarding Carlisle’s transformation at the age of 23? Carlisle ran with the vampires towards the mob and the ancient vampire was weak with hunger and decided to get Carlisle because he was closer?

Pleaaaase do midnight sun once you finish all the other books! I’ve read them all when I was younger, but never read midnight sun and was recently thinking about reading it, but now that I’ve discovered this channel I might as well wait for your reading. You really get the mood of the story and ever since I’ve been getting the best night sleeping. It’s a ritual, getting my tea, lay in bed and just listening to your voice. This is my 2nd time listening to twilight already. Keep it up!

I usually play rain sounds on my TV and listen to a podcast on my phone to fall asleep. Having two in one setting is literally a dream come true. I had no idea I NEEDED this!
Oh my gosh. 16 hours! This is an absolute dream. This reading alone will carry me for weeks at the very least. I dont even like Twilight, have no interest in it, but I will listen to anything you read, even if it was the schematics for a Boeing jet's engine.

I loved the movies back then, and now I'm imagining if we will ever get to read Twilight from Edward's perspective. He experienced internal struggles between himself, his family, and his desires.

@@MissKerriAnn No, that has nothing to do with any type of gas station (at least not where I am coming from). It's a pill that you get if you suffer from a mental illness, often also when you have difficulties sleeping, because you can't stop thinking. At least that's what I take it for.

@@LauraPalmer-vd5fsI think that only works if you stopped the video. I fall asleep listening to UA-cam videos, usually true crime stories, & I usually wake up in the morning with the video complete & several videos having played after it. As far as I know there is no way to put a sleep timer on a UA-cam video (tho that would be great) so if you literally fall asleep listening your history may not tell you much since it'll just show the video was watched all the way thru.
Just put your own when you reach a stopping point I just come back to my comment and update it when I need a little twilight break.
