Exactly. I’m loving the great media reviews so far. Not easy to have shows almost back to back and some people are still complaining here and there. I know she can never please some people.
For over 60 years this woman has honed her craft to reach a level that feeds love and positivity to her audience. She has her distracters of course - but with a career of this length and reflection of the times and issues she faced who wouldnt! and as a certain Mr Sullivan said many years ago. "these girls were not born with any silver spoons lying around". she has an iconic status that IMO is richly deserved.
Amazing show! Thank You tour is the extension of the I Love You tour was the American leg and the Thank You is the European leg. Sold Out on both continents. It shows us just how powerful her legacy is. Noteworthy, Glasgow sold out in fifteen minutes.
3 shows I’ve seen on this tour she came back on and sat on a chair…she asked the audience for questions but they requested songs..and she did as she was asked. She walked back off afterwards to a reprise of I Will Survive
@@jonsa270 Thanks. I was wondering if maybe cos she came on too late 8:45 that she didn't have time to do an encore as stadiums don't allow artists to go past a certain time. But seems maybe she was just tired. She didn't sit down and chat to the audience like she did in other cities either.
@@Hero87 That’s disappointing for you, but she did comment (I think it was Manchester) that if they go over their time she gets into trouble. I guess it all depends on how long she spends singing some songs too. I’ve noticed on I’m Still Waiting for example, she repeats it after she’s sung it, but doesn’t always sing it for as long as previous nights. Each show was still around 90 minutes even with encores

Sheer class and all sung live, not one track mimed brilliant and had the audience in her hand the whole time without any gimmicks

Did she do an encore? She was great but in Liverpool she just left after I Will Survive, no encore and didn't turn up on stage until 8:45.
