@@AndreFauth Hi , this method is only for AMD graphics cards which don’t have any vendor provided drivers. For Nvidia you can get official installers on their site for Linux and once installed you can see option to switch right on top of your screen.

Already install the latest nvidia driver, downgrade, and even install the driver from official nvidia site and i still cant make my linux use nvidia for opengl render. Im new to linux. nvidia gives you a GUI based option called as prime switch, which is used to switch from intel to nvidia and vide versa. You can find this option depending on the desktop environment you are using.
@@sapphirecoders6134 i already solved this using linux mint after a couple weeks searching some community post, because when I try pop os it still doesnt work. Anyways thanks for the reply, keep it up
Did u check performance difference between Intel and amd running during the process? During my test even though the switch can be made the performance of amd is considerably worst then Intel integrated one.
Sorry for late reply. Yes you are correct, the reason is that AMD cards do very well with proprietary drivers but with opensource AMD drivers the performance is not up to the mark. [UPDATE] : Try updating your Linux kernel to version >= 5 and get the latest opensource graphic drivers as I saw awesome performance with latest kernel versions.
Hey bro, I just want minecraft to run on dedicated gpu and everything else runs on integrated graphics, is this possible? Can someone please tell me or teach me how do to that in an ubuntu based distro? It's really infuriating me, thanks!
No, that is not possible, If you start the application by GPU then it will spawn processes that by default use this GPU. The variables in parent scope is share by children hence the sub process use dedicated GPU by default.

In the video tutorial I used open source amd radeon drivers as vendor drivers were not available for my amd graphics card. But your card had vendor drivers for linux (pop Os - a ubuntu based distro). Here is the link below where you can download the drivers and install it. www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/amd-radeon-hd/amd-radeon-hd-7000m-series/amd-radeon-hd-7670m After installing try running CS:GO.
