Why though?
Why TF is this not a movie? Would've made more sense. Also, I understand the need for diversity, but that's disrespectful to the source material. Grease takes place in the 1950's. We all know damn well what went on in the 1950's. There wasn't any diversity. So not only are they disrespecting one of the greatest films OAT, they're being insensitive to the time of which the story takes place and making it unrealistic. I don't have a problem with them giving the Pink Ladies an origin story, I do have an issue with them disrespecting the source material.
Next up, all female Hardy Boys, and yes,I know Nancy drew is a thing. )
Will this have the charm of the original grease? Let's see.
