And the Bill Self post-game presser was interesting as usual. As much as I don't care for Kansas, Self is just kinda hard to dislike. I respect him and what he has done. His comment about the guy who started and the guy who didn't, being the two best guys out there tonight, was noteworthy!
Curtis starting and Jackson benched for misssing film practice. 36 minutes for Curtis for 25 and 20 minutes for Jackson for 17 points. TJ knows what he is doing. He's a hell of a coach. I'm so glad we have him.
I was at the game, and I have watched several matchups between ISU and Kansas in 38 years, and I thought this was one of the most pedestrian looking Kansas teams I've ever seen. Iowa State is just a better basketball program at this point. The Cyclones made Kansas look like the 4th or 5th best team we've played this year. Jones and Watson had the Hilton Magic working tonight.
We were at the game, as well. However, both teams shot 24 of 59 FG. Think about that. We won by 17, but both shot and made the exact same number of field goals. We did not play as well as everyone thinks. Free throws.
Love Milan and his defense has improved a great deal this year. I thought his absence would be a big minus for the offense, but Curtis more than made up for it, but I also thought the defense would be better like Chris said), and with Watson in, the defense held Kansas to a season low 57 points.
Crazy, isn't it? It's not like KU suddenly lost their mojo, either. I fully expect the Jayhawks are going to make a run in the tournament...they just aren't as good as the Cyclones.

He's a good talker.

This is a fantastic team, and that's all there is. You could tell Milan really wanted to be out there, and I hope he can again soon.
Awesome game , congrats to the Iowa state mens basketball team. Great win over KU!!!!

More then we do
We had one last year who never played
GREAT job Cyclones, and great job Chris. Definitely TEAM all the way. How many McDonald's All Americans does Kansas have?
A dominant win over Kansas that didn’t feel that impressive? My how the tables have turned!

Iowa State is just the better basketball team, and it isn’t even close.
Awesome game. Gotta say though that I’m disappointed that TJ didn’t empty the bench with about 2 minutes left.
😂 I’m sorry to hear that. Such a dumb comment.
