@@SpicyMoustache Honestly, Great work! It's really hard to find small planting space videos, but I think that's a big trend right now for people wanting to become closer to nature, know what they eat and a bit more self reliant. Keep going!
It's so interesting & cool to hear the guideline that "if it grows well together, it probably tastes good together." The cucumber/dill and tomato/basil pairings were such great examples of that concept.
A simple trick i learned to keep remember stuff like this is that good combinations are also good combinations on the plate, if it goes well together such as basil and tomato, carrot and onion!

Hey. Great videos. Since one week I watched soooooo many of your videos. You and some others like Charles Dowding or Liz (forgot the name) are such great inspiration. I have a two year old son, and second will be born in 6 weeks. My grandparents had a huge garden with all you can imagine to eat. Plus enough space for us kids to play. So it’s a dream for me to grow my own vegetables or fruits. Specially now in these days where everything is getting expensive and most importantly … since many years we all know that these supermarket vegetables are not the best in nutrition, plus pesticides. And I want my kids to see and know and taste the „real“ food.
So I have a big garden but we rent the house. So it’s not my own, but the owner was ok if do some „modifications“ to the garden and make some raised beds. I want of course make the much out of it. My husband is Italien. From ventimiglia. North Italy. And his uncle is owner of half a „mountain“ and grows everything. Many greenhouses. Of course you know that the weather conditions are perfekt for big juicy tomatoes and big lettuce…. And the sweetest fruits. He gave us last year about 12 mini tomatoes to plant, I live in Germany. So my climate is a bit like yours. And I also live on a country side, small village, near mountains. So it’s 4-5 degrees Celsius colder. I could manage hardly to grow the tomatoes but some had disease, others a bit mould. I had not the time to fully take care. But this year I want to start new with education first. Watched all your fertilizer, jadam, compost, seeding, growing …. Videos. I already have a composter, but I didn’t take care. All the kitchen waste gets in there (only the things that can of course), some old greens, weeds etc from the garden, leafs.
The area want my beds is full of sun, from 11am till the sun goes down. There is grass and weeds. But in the middle of summer this area burns and get brown. Of course it comes back to life. But in summer it’s useless and not good looking. I don’t mind that but I will use this space for my vegetables.
I found there is almost no video about this topic. Here and there are tips, I already know. I do know how to protect the surface with mulch or so. But still don’t know if this will be to much heat for some vegetables. Although they are made for full sun. I do have also an area with shadow from around 4pm, in the summer. Should I better use this?
One thing I want to mention, many times you say „links in the description“ but it’s not. Or I am blind 🙈😂 sorry for that. All YOUR links, but to the UA-camrs you make interviews and share tips with are no links. In this video I mis the link to jacks companion planting list you mentioned.
Another issue I can not find a video is where to buy good seeds. I saw your explanation about the differences. But I don’t know where to buy or company I can trust. I would order from uk, but since brexit it’s terrible to order, taxes etc.
I want to buy your book, I wish I had it now, start of the year/season. So I could be better prepared.

Another want to mention, I almost forgot. It’s great you write the names of plants in the videos. Because English is also not my mother language and I had to Google and translate many names to know which vegetable and flowers and equipment you (and others) talk about. Like Charles Dowding…. Sometimes I do not know what he is talking about, plus accents. Sometimes I see what he is meaning, but sometimes Incan not figure out what this word means.

Alexander! I need some questions answered:
I planted an absolute shitload of tomatoes this year including cherries, Romas, and full size beefsteak style tomatoes. Do you eat all yours? Do you preserve them? Maybe this is a video idea for preserving lots of tomatoes.
Secondly, I want to know: how dense do you grow your plants? I have a .5 meter by 2 meter plot outside of my kitchen window that gets a ton of sunlight, and I’m thinking about putting six plants there. Is that too much for indeterminate tomatoes?
I’ve never seen anyone grow as many tomatoes as you do in a small space. Help me out, Alexander!
Oh and I forgot! What pollinators are you using to encourage bees/butterflies?? I have Dahlias and a few others, but I know I need bees to get the pollination and production I’m looking for to look like your CRAZY full plants

Yes, I do preserve them and I make a lot of sauce that lets trough the year. That’s a great video idea that I’ll work on, thanks!
Last time I planted 2 plants in 1x1 meter space so my advice is to try and see how far you can squeeze plants in there.
I used plants like marigolds, nasturtium, iris, borage and many more. Also, let a few plants of basil flower as bees are really attracted to them 😊

I'm thinking of buying a house plant such as a Kentia Palm. Can I add a herb, like Mint to the same plant pot? I like the idea of adding some foliage and interest to the soil and also an aroma to the room. Is this a good idea? Would it be beneficial to either plant or is it pure madness and potentially harmful to the palm?
Can garlic chives, kale, sorrel and mustard greens all grow well together?
