This was inspired by a much older video of mine called Dusk. It was a short video featuring MSTnoodle models and was filmed in Trainz 2006. A friend of mine told me I should make a "second part" to it, to which this video was created. This video is filmed in Trainz 2006 and features the old Si3D Classic models from Richard Jordan, with additional assets by thehipsterSRV. Enjoy!

Don't care what anyone says, the 06 SI3D models still hold up really well. It was even nice seeing new models made in that style like Richard and Emily

Ah... these models remind me so much of the old days of the Trainz Thomas community. Back when we all have created memories with those models before moving further and further with the newer models. What a wholesome MV with such old, but not forgotten models.
Just goes to show how amazing this guy is. He managed to create a cinematic masterpiece up to par with today’s standards yet he’s using the oldest Trainz Thomas models in the oldest Trainz version they can be used in. This literally brings back so much nostalgia for me.
Nice song. I spotted Locke at one point. (The green 0-4-0 from the BRWS character contest). With the use of the old 06 models and camera movements, it felt like I was watching a Tines Sensahthe video.
Seeing the older Thomas and friends Trainz models shows how far Trainz content making has come. It started with having static images of faces on the models to models with movable eyes and 3d faces.
It really warms my heart to think that, while people are using more up-to-date and professional models nowadays, the original models are still very much loved and cared about by the community, continuing their work on their own rails.
Even with such old models, your cinematography never fails to amaze and capture the beauty and wonder of the Island of Sodor.

Seeing Trainz videos filmed in Trainz 2006-2010 feels so nostalgic when people were making videos like these left and right! It almost seems natural to have more recent characters like Richard appearing in a model that is appropriate for the era.

I really like those additional assets thehipsterSRV gave you. It's a shame none of them were released on Sodor Island 3D due to changes to the 2009 version and so on and so on. I do wish The Classic Sodor Island 3d would continued releasing all of the rest of the 2006 stuffs. That would make my life a good one just like the old times.

There's a certain charm when it comes to these old Trainz models man. Sure, by today's standards they might be a little outdated and inaccurate... but God, you just can't help but love them.
It doesn't matter the age of the medium. If it produced incredible art in the past, it can do it again.

Found this quite some charm. Using the 06 models look quite nostalgic, but making them work in Trainz 2006 looks way nostalgic despite it being outdated. Speaking of Trainz 2006, was that the actual game used or was it 2009 or above?
I actually used Trainz 2006, with lots of editing and colour grading in post :)

How the Hell, Did you make this Look good in Trainz 09 or 10. i can't even fix some of the assets that i download to the station
The footage in this vid was filmed in Trainz 2006. I will admit it was a real pain to get a lot of assets to work!
i wanna play with this verison so bad, i downloaded it but when it ask "Do you want the unknown publisher to make changed to your device?" And it says setup.exe, i get pussylegs and i press no every time, cuz this is the pc my brother bought for me, and i dont wanna fuck it up, my model is a windows 10, if you know if its safe to press yes, please tell me,

This video is a great example of why a game isn't good just because of graphics, any game is good proven by it's optimization and quality of gameplay, not just the graphics, look at Sonic 06 for example. It had fairly good graphics but the game was overall garbage. What I'm saying is, great job rhdyronen, keep it up!
