Don't care what anyone says, the 06 SI3D models still hold up really well. It was even nice seeing new models made in that style like Richard and Emily
Ah... these models remind me so much of the old days of the Trainz Thomas community. Back when we all have created memories with those models before moving further and further with the newer models. What a wholesome MV with such old, but not forgotten models.
Just goes to show how amazing this guy is. He managed to create a cinematic masterpiece up to par with today’s standards yet he’s using the oldest Trainz Thomas models in the oldest Trainz version they can be used in. This literally brings back so much nostalgia for me.
It really warms my heart to think that, while people are using more up-to-date and professional models nowadays, the original models are still very much loved and cared about by the community, continuing their work on their own rails.
Seeing the older Thomas and friends Trainz models shows how far Trainz content making has come. It started with having static images of faces on the models to models with movable eyes and 3d faces.
Nice song. I spotted Locke at one point. (The green 0-4-0 from the BRWS character contest). With the use of the old 06 models and camera movements, it felt like I was watching a Tines Sensahthe video.
Seeing Trainz videos filmed in Trainz 2006-2010 feels so nostalgic when people were making videos like these left and right! It almost seems natural to have more recent characters like Richard appearing in a model that is appropriate for the era.
It doesn't matter the age of the medium. If it produced incredible art in the past, it can do it again. Absolutely amazing! Really does showcase that Old can still be New.
There's a certain charm when it comes to these old Trainz models man. Sure, by today's standards they might be a little outdated and inaccurate... but God, you just can't help but love them.
I find it amazing that some of these older unreleased models are still around. This video made me feel so fuzzy on the inside, absolutely loved this, great work as usual!
I never imagined Trainz 06 could be this cinamatic! This video really shows how much the creator of these video loves making them. BTW, I loved the song. It's going in my music playlist. 🎉❤
Man this song slaps and with such an old installment of trainz this is absolute 🔥! I also love this cuz it gives me a similar vibes to those old Minecraft songs like fallen kingdom!
I really like those additional assets thehipsterSRV gave you. It's a shame none of them were released on Sodor Island 3D due to changes to the 2009 version and so on and so on. I do wish The Classic Sodor Island 3d would continued releasing all of the rest of the 2006 stuffs. That would make my life a good one just like the old times.
A fantastic music video here. I'm surprised you used this generation of Trainz. Reminds me of the good ol days of people making content with this version of Trainz. Somehow you made it as equally good as the other music videos you did. No matter the generation of Trainz. Well done here.
this is like a weird time line where the trainz moders never evolved after trainz 2006. also @ 0:25 I never knew there was sentient version of that engine. I knew there was a faceless, but never she had a face.
Found this quite some charm. Using the 06 models look quite nostalgic, but making them work in Trainz 2006 looks way nostalgic despite it being outdated. Speaking of Trainz 2006, was that the actual game used or was it 2009 or above?
the engine will continue to wait amongst the star until their next big adventure arrives. Until then, the destination they yearn to reach is far beyond their reach. P.S. This comment is for the video named "Lost and Found."
Hey man I know it’s hassle and a lot to ask; but the songs you use are amazing and relax my anxiety. I’ve been going through it lately, and was wondering where you got your songs? Please can you give me the songs used in BoCo’s Tractor Bang (specifically 1:16) Things That Go Bump In The Night (specifically 6:40) As well as Edward’s Essential Experience
Hi there, Unfortunately I don't remember the music scores I used in Edward's Branch Line. I've lost the project files for them as well so I am unable to check. I'm sorry I couldn't be of much help!
Hey there, bud. Now, first off, this was a great music video you put together and it was pretty cool, so great work. Second, after seeing Richard in the video, could we see him in any of your future videos as well as Wilbert? And finally, at 1:07, who's that engine passing Thomas? All-in-all, in the end, it was a great music video and I look forward to seeing what you have in store for us next, so until then, keep up the good work, bud!
As for your question regarding Richard and Wilbert appearing in the future - who knows, maybe they'll return again! For your second question, that would be Brad the American Engine from the Extended Railway Series. Hope this helps and thank you for the kind words!
@@rhydyronen Well, first off, glad to know we might see Richard and Wilbert show up in the future. Second, thanks for explaining to me who Brad is. Also, thank you for the compliment!

Even with such old models, your cinematography never fails to amaze and capture the beauty and wonder of the Island of Sodor.
Even when filming with Trainz 2009, you don't disappoint. What can't you do!? Great job as always!

I adore this!!!
The Midnight is one of my favorite bands
oh i missed Dusk, this is a wonderful comeback to something so simple and long forgotten
Dude, I love this band! And their songs in general.
Now this is nostalgia at its finest
You, my good man, deserve a golden star⭐️!
Wow, the nostalgia I felt was incredible!
It doesn't matter the age of the medium. If it produced incredible art in the past, it can do it again.
Absolutely amazing! Really does showcase that Old can still be New.
seeing modern day camera techniques on old things is so aesthetically appealing,
Great job Rhydo!
Love that you went old school. Classic.
The fact that this was made with models from the 2000s really does show how talented you are. Great work
Did not expect to see Loch and Richard in this
Brings back so many memories of watching old Thomas trainz videos on The Family Computer
Great job!:)
This was so great! A wonderful video with 06 models, never forget where we started with.
A Trip down memory lane.

Thomas and The Midnight. Love it so much. The Midnight is my favorite synthwave band

AMAZING!
nicely done this 🌆🌆❤❤
1:59 ah yes, true nostalgia has kicked in...
This is a reminder that you dont need Trainz 19 to make good looking trainz videos.
I've never seen anyone with TRS2006 make something like this.
Man, this quite fits with 2006 models. :p
Awesome job Aiden
Great
Great job bro!
Cool video, the mix of reshade and 96 work, as well as camera movements
So tryna pass 06???
No reshade in this video, just colour correcting done in post :) Thanks for watching!

Thomas and Friends(1984-2003) and Shining Time Station(1989-1995)
How do these shots look so good on such an old software?
For a while, I had a feeling that you would make a sequel to Dusk with the 2006 models. The results do not disappoint at all.
I'm getting tobias and the half pariah vibes
How the Hell, Did you make this Look good in Trainz 09 or 10. i can't even fix some of the assets that i download to the station
The footage in this vid was filmed in Trainz 2006. I will admit it was a real pain to get a lot of assets to work!
