बरसात में गंगाजी, 2-3 मीटर नहीं, तकररीवन 15-20 मीटर बढ़ जाती है, हरिद्वार जैसी जगह में एकदम नदी किनारे सुरक्षित नहीं है, दूसरा यह कि टेहरी डैम से कभी कभी या बरसात के मौसम में अधिकांस पानी छोड़ा ही जाता है जोकि बड़ा खतरनाक होता है, इसलिए अपने को खतरे में डालने से पहले जरूर सोच बिचार करें.
