In my child hood we had round earthen pots closed on all sides. The only opening was a small slit through which coins and folded notes could be pushed through. May be there is an Indian origin story for that! I also remember the old mother of our maid servant would break these pots on Tuesdays which was a weekly market day. These pots in thoes days cold be bought at the rate of three for one paisa or something like that! Any ways, intresting video thanks.
