They do have quad release wheels. In the states Hondas are pretty good. In Canada, they are the cheapest, most garbagy vehicles on the road and should never pass inspection.
I have had a couple of quad release axles unfortunately they've never lasted very long without breaking or getting stuck so I decided it was less hassle without them. Maybe I should have gotten some Canadian ones.

Late to this party, I'm a T6 para, having that door length is a HUGE deal, but so is the height. Couldn't get in my brother's 2016 camaro, but I could get into an early 2000s trans-am (barely). Corvettes are out unless you get a convertible and only drive it in weather where you can open the top. (hard top convertibles are great for summer, but most of us don't have that disposable cash). The bmw 335 series works for my Quickie S7 but the 325 series is too small, the Genesis Coupe is an option, as well as the Infinity G37, and a couple others i'm sure i'm missing. My daily driver is my trusty old 2000 Honda V6 Coupe. It has some dents and dings which make it much easier to transfer in and just not care about the little nicks that end up in the door sill paint. I wish I could get in a Civic, but the seat doesn't go back enough for me to fit the frame in.

Hey man I’m a c5 c6 quad as well. Did you start off with Medicaid? If you don’t mind me asking. Who helped you mostly with everything you need in the beginning?
I had Medicaid for about 7 years. I got a cna and my family helped a lot too. At least until I was able to figure things out on my own. As I said in my other message, hit me up any time and I’ll do my best to help.
@@luisguillermo and @Justin Malone: just for info...Medicaid has a real estate repayment plan for those over 55. They take your homes when you die...so if you had a family member you wanted to leave your home to...and you used Medicaid after age 55, they would take the home if it was in your name.

Hey! Where are you located? You would have to find out who the vendors are in your area that work on car modifications. You could also just Google tri pin, spinner knob for steering wheel. There are more basic forms of the hand controls you could buy by just googling Wheelchair hand controls. But the ones I have I got through a vendor so they’re a little more Customized. If you let me know where you are located, I’ll try to help find the vendor.

Thanks! I got my regular wheel size of 24” but because the tires are so much bigger it will affect your dump since your butt will be higher.

How long does it take? What do you do when it rains?
MDX GY if I’m rushing getting in takes me 2 minutes. Getting out a minute and a half. And when it rains, I get wet. Using a raincoat actually helps a lot when it’s pouring.

Thanks! My longest solo drive since my injury was from Tampa to Miami. I’ve been driving for a couple of months.
Not wheelchair accessible if you have to get OUT of wheelchair.
You make a solid point bro 😅 my accommodations make my car accessible for me but not everyone in a wheelchair can access it.
