"Working full-time while studying" rule is for a selective group of students: (1) those who were in Canada with their study permits (and allowed to work off-campus) on 7th Oct 2022; or (2) those who applied for their study permit on or before Oct 7th 2022 and waiting for approval. For students who applied for their study permits after 7th Oct 2022, the old "working 20 hours a week while studying" rule remains.
IRCC should fix this unfair situation and apply the same rule to all students.

I think in November 2, 2023 they updated it. On their website. It's 20 hours i guess.
How the 2024 batch of students will be able to get work during their studies ,if current international students are working full time? And why nobody is talking about Canadian students. Now the pandemic is over, they also want to work p/t . That's the norm here in Canada. The politicians are busy talking about the welfare of international students and refugees. No one cares about the "real Canadians "!! Hope there will be changes after the elections ." Canadians first" should be the new slogan!!

Full time students ki reason say remaining students ko koi jobs ni mil ri , bcoz full time students book entire year advanced booked shifts , so other students have no part time jobs. Sure for ending full time shifts

The waiver on the 20-hour-per-week limit on the number of hours international students are allowed to work off campus while class is in session will be extended to April 30, 2024. International students already in Canada, as well as applicants who have already submitted an application for a study permit as of December 7, 2023, will be able to work off campus more than 20 hours per week until that time. We continue to examine options for this policy in the future, such as expanding off-campus work

@@sushanthsuresh2590 No, MBA program in Trinity Western University does not qualify for BC PNP International Post-Graduate Stream. If you study Master in an eligible university in Ontario, then you qualify for Masters Graduate Stream. No job offers required to apply in both provinces. It is going to be hard to find a job with MBA. But at least you can apply for PNP in Ontario through OINP Masters Graduate Stream. Other provinces have similar PNP streams for Master graduates.
Hi like I came 12th of December 2023 and start study on 4 jan so can I work more than 20 hours or like how much 40 and got my visa 2 or 3 months before I landed over here
