Yes when I lived in lucea. One night as usual sitting on the balcony I saw five white shapes like humans all of a sudden they appeared rising up from the ground them moving close to each other and gliding down the lane, I was scared stiff. Xx Heather uk

Hi guys, maybe that young man on the bike,although a bit of a nuisance,was genuinely trying to be helpful, so give him the benefit of the doubt. You'll find persons like that almost anywhere and they are generally quite harmless. Remember too that Portland is regarded as the safest Parish in Jamaica, no disrespect to St Thomas😄😄 Miss Madge though "my button was there before the microphone" 😄😄. The audio was very clear👍 Really enjoyed the ride highlighted by the fresh, verdant fields and lush mountains as the backdrop. Thanks for taking us on that long, beautiful, scenic drive to and from the Reach Falls. I thoroughly enjoyed it. However, I did get nervous for you guys on that last stretch of roads the falls. It was isolated and no place for a quick u-turn, just in case. It got worse for me when the guy on the motorbike entered the picture. It’s one thing to think that he may want to rob you, it’s on another level if your mind works like mine and I’m thinking that there are many places right there to hide bodies. Don’t let me scare you, I am afraid of my own shadow. I’m Jamaican by birth and have been away for decades. On one of my trips to Jamaica, staying at a large resort, we did a private tour from Montego Bay to the YS Falls and the Appleton Rum factory in Black River. I used my GoPro to video the entire journey. I thoroughly enjoyed it until I came home and watched the video and realized that more often than not we were on long stretches of lonely roads all by ourselves. I started thinking of all the things that could have gone wrong. Anyway, you did the right thing by not being too friendly and being cautious as you should. Beautiful, beautiful countryside. Thanks again for the ride. ❤

Hi Tom and Madge, the guy on the bike knew that Reach fall was closed so he was trying to hustle, the area where he parked when you were coming back from the fall is where they take people and charge them a price, but the way he was doing it was harassment, you two are always careful and as Madge always said don’t stop, just always be careful. Love the breadfruit orchard (I don’t know if that’s what it is) I’m guessing the farmer will be exporting or sells to a factory that does. I’ve been buying frozen roasted breadfruit in NYC and it’s really good. I understand there is a market for breadfruit flour now. Hoping to see more of these orchards.
