Dewall realized something is off because all things business he does is with this "Miles"-character. Maybe he even expected Miles to be at this meeting. My thinking is that Dewall then suspected Ginger of trying to do a little side-hustle with 3rd-party coke, that Miles must not know anything about. Dewall is instantly suspicious because of Ginger's face and him barely saying anything. That is why Dewall keeps looking around and threatens Ginger to inform Miles about Ginger's side project. Although Ginger kinda vouched for Rust, Dewall doesn't believe the story. I guess shady characters recognize each other. Rust's look on his face at the end is because Dewall said something about Rust having his demons, which we know to be true, given Rust's past. The whole point of this meeting was Rust wanting Dewall to show up, so Marty could then follow Dewall to his and Ledoux's hideout. Mission accomplished.
Ive watched interviews w the writer of this. I don't think his intentions were to have so much deep philosophical meaning tangled throughout the scenes, it just happened to create itself.

The swamp guys did terrible things and everything to become at least half what Rust was. They're on the same scale, strongly connected, feel each other, but opposing like atom particles.
Ólafur Darri...the best thing we Icelanders have ever exported in addition to Brennivín and bankruptcy
Ive watched interviews w the writer of this.
I don't think his intentions were to have so much deep philosophical meaning tangled throughout the scenes, it just happened to create itself.
Dewall is in the newest season of Severance too
This guy reminds me of a guy I grew up with. Found him burnt up in a corn field.
Alrighty then!
🤔 Which guy...

The pedo thinks rust is a dangerous guy
Best TV series EVER!!
