This was THE MOST helpful of all of the "how to" make a smudge fan videos. Glue or just wrapping the feathers is very difficult to get them to sit correctly and crazy time consuming. The three hole approach works!! Thank you!
I try to make most items without glue , but it does come in handy sometimes my items gets passed around classrooms a lot for teaching tools so I also need to make them to last with some mishandling. I am glad you enjoyed the video and that my video inspired you thanks for watching.
HI Jessie I understand what your doing with the smudge fan but for the beaver fur you should have used a knife or a razor or box cutter but I know how to make a smudge feather

How does one make a fan without using glue sir?
make smaller holes and wedge them inor bind them with sinew

any fur I just had extra beaver on hand

yes but it was scrap if I was doing another project with a full piece of hide I would have cut from the back with a razor or utility knife
