Hello, this is the first time I've seen you on UA-cam. I discovered your channel today while researching the Mazda CX-50. Thank you for your review! And thank you for your scripture verse. I was shocked So refreshing considering the liberal nature of UA-cam and social media. Good job. FYI, I have a 2023 CX-50 Turbo Premium Plus, Soul Red/Terra Cotta on order. Hope to receive in 5-weeks. :)
I bought a new 2021 Mazda CX-5. I believe the CX-50 has the same engine. It has burned engine oil from day one and getting progressively worse. I looked up and found a bulletin for my car to be repaired. I took it in and they agreed that my car fell under that bulletin according to the VIN but, that I had to wait for the engine light to come on. By my calculation that won't happen until one oil change after my warranty is up. I only have 15,000 miles on it. Worse yet is that the UA-cam posts from Mazda or it's dealerships take out negative reviews. Sleezy. Don't take a chance and buy Mazda’s. They don't stand by their products.
Ok guys, here is the bad news! Long term 2 month review. 1)fuel economy is actually 23.5 mpg... highway. Basic reason, engine not able to get to speed in the midrange without laboring. Can explain more about this if you want to know. 2) carplay works 40% of time... no kidding. 3) lines of car are awkward.... because of this have never been able to park straight. Even rear camera view is off. And as far as 360 view... well, only available in top line turbo. This is a good review and talks to fun points so not knocking reviewer at all..... but it doesn't speak to time spent over the first few months.
My mpg after 2 mths is 23.5 mixed driving (turbo), I like the lines of the vehicle but you are right for some reason it is difficult to park the vehicle straight, it is so strange. As far as apple car play mine has worked very consistently for me. My 20 Acura RDX I had before this was very spotty.
Thanks for the awesome review, detailed and thoughtful. The camera should be behind your right shoulder though while you test drive. And I wish that the test drive has been this detailed, like how does it ride on highway or rams or rough terrain etc.
Amen brother!
I'm heading off to Mazda in Johannesburg now to view the car.
God bless you brother
only available in north america.

price turbo ??
Infotainment display need a big update. Mostly this car looks good.
awd is standard regardless of trim. and the turbo is fun.
Great review Isaac. I hope low profile tire / large wheel trend goes away soon. It just makes city driving too tedious due to curbs and potholes.
19" would be perfect for the top trim.
I’m pretty content with my CX-50. 4/10 argument for Premium Plus.
God bless you for the scriptures!
lol 😂 took me a minute to get that joke.

The 21 year turbo had issues...
The scripture reading convinced me to subscribe! God bless you brother! Praise be Jesus Christ!

I can only comment on what I'm given in the moment, so I appreciate any long term reviews from owners on any cars I review!

Recorded horizontally:)
As they normally are.. Wait did you add a profile picture in between now and your last comment?

I can look into doing that for sure!
good review does the sunroof even open over the front seats?
Just slightly yes. It definitely is a benefit for the rear seat passengers more.
There’s CX-30 between them 😂
Now clean off the fingerprints on the screen, looks horrible with prints.
Very seductive voice during the dealer shoutout! 🫢 Lol
LOL
@@arizonadirt3622 I just think it was a nice, kind voice.
