A great part 1, Patrick. Where most of us make videos, you make documentaries. It's always a pleasure when I see one drop. Thank you again for the shoutout, Patrick. I really appreciate it. I can't wait for parts two and three.
Glad you enjoyed it Chris. A pleasure regarding the shout out. Thanks you so much for watching and for all your kind words, much appreciated 👍
As soon as I saw the 'What's your favourite place in Derbyshire' question, I immediately thought 'Thorn Tree beer garden' - great minds think alike! 😀
You know Matlock well then! 👍😁
@@solitaryrambler and you too - this is Matt 😊
@@MS-by7ry I didn't realise it was you, you kept that quiet! 😂
@@solitaryrambler you can probably tell it's me in the photo - I'm the one in the background :D
@@MS-by7ry I can see now that you've pointed it out 😂

Congratulation Patrick. You deserve it because you put soooo much work into your videos. I so love them because after watching them I feel as though I have been on holidays to those places. You are very professional in your whole approach and of course very talented that being your music. Well done again and best wishes in your future walks which I will always look forward to watching them. England is such a beautiful country.
Greetings from Ireland.☘️

7000 subscribers. That is fantastic Patrick, and so well deserved. Your friend is quite right, you do make UA-cam a much brighter place. Congratulations. 👏👏👏
Many thanks Ian. I appreciate your kind words and all your support. All the best 👍
It was really enjoyable to see people's questions. You have such a body of work to pick from but regarding the peak district, I love Dove Dale. My sister lived in Mallorca for a number of years and she fell in love with the place. Later she moved to Tenerife and hated it. All volcanic lava and man-made beaches. I've never seen the point in booze holidays when you can save the cash and drink at the local instead. Thanks Patrick. I look forward to next week's. Nice pictures on your walls too. Cheers
Many thanks Kelly. Glad you love Dovedale too. I think my experience of going abroad would have been better had we actually visited places rather than just lying on a beach all day. The resort in Corfu was quite seedy at the time and clearly catered for young brits who were used to boozing and partying every weekend, so not my cup of tea even then. Glad you like my pictures too, thanks for that. Thanks Kelly for watching, all the best 👍
Cheers Patrick.. . Well done on subscribers...keep up the gud work..👍
Thanks Ali, much appreciated 👍
Hi Patrick, very interesting. Looking forward to watching Part 2
Glad you enjoyed it Ged, thanks for watching 👍
Amazing idea Patrick, loved this part 1, unfortunatly youve answered my Questions so my only question i can ask is keep them coming n carry on with your fantastic Chanel, Jay 👍
Thanks Jay. I guess my answers will cover a lot of what other people have asked, but I have given an answer to your question in part 3. Although in hindsight I'm not sure I gave the answer to what you were actually asking! 😂😂😂 Anyway thanks for watching Jay and for all your support 👍
Thanks for answering my question Patrick, much appreciated
You are welcome, thanks for watching 👍
Really enjoyed this Patrick. I'm with you on the holidays - if I go abroad I want to be off walking and exploring, not sitting on a beach all day!
Glad you enjoyed it Steph, thanks for watching. Yes lying on a beach is certainly boring! All the best 👍
Congratulations on 7000 subscribers I always look forward to your weekly walks it’s nice to see some areas I am not familiar with keep on walking
Thank you very much Mick! I appreciate your comments and your support, all the best 👍

A very useful tutorial Patrick. Watched with interest. You have so many dimensions to your channel and a delight to see. Thanks for sharing your tips, ideas and kindness in considering/sharing other youtube vloggers too. Amazing dedication. Congrats on the 7k now over sub achievement. Incidentally I liked the pictures on your wall and new trendy hairstyle too.🙂
Hi Shanita, thanks for all your comments and for watching. Glad you found it interesting. I tried to cover a bit about my channel before the Q&As really as many seem to miss what's already in front of them 😁 Thanks for your kind words about my hair. I keep brushing it in different ways lately as I'm not sure what works. If I had my way I'd have it very short again, but Linda likes me with more hair and says I should make the most of it whilst I still have some 👍😂

Morning Patrick, thoroughly enjoyed part 1 of your Q&A this morning. I feel embarrassed that I hadn't spotted the route maps before now but I certainly will be following them going forward :o)
Glad you enjoyed it Steve, many thanks for watching. No need to feel embarrassed at all, glad I was able to highlight where the info is available 👍
Thankyou Patrick for answering 😊 enjoyed the Q&A , there really are some lovely places out there, have a good weekend.
My pleasure Steph, thanks for all your support. Have a good weekend too 👍
Great Q&A session Patrick. I feel the same as you about Monsal Head. A firm favourite with me! I've been around the area a few times in the last year or two. Never been to Magpie mine or up onto Fin Cop so maybe places to visit one day
Thanks Jamie, glad you enjoyed it. Good to know you like Monsal Head too. Magpie Mine is certainly worth a visit. Not sure how easy access to Fin Cop is, but I'm sure it'll be good to see if you can 👍
@solitaryrambler not sure about Fin Cop myself, but another UA-camr I watch has wild camped on there before
Great and informative q&a and thanks for the name check and answering my question, look forward to the next two.
My pleasure Steve, many thanks for watching and for your support 👍

Very well done, Patrick
Thanks 👍😀
Some good questions there Patrick - I like the planning ones because that's part of a trip I always enjoy. Your favorite videos for me are some of your older ones. Well, good going. Have a great weekend. Mark
Thanks Mark. Yeah in many ways the planning is as much fun for me as going on the actual trips. I enjoy some of my older vids too, obviously the Wye Valley and FoD ones. Thanks Mark for watching. Have a great weekend too 👍
@@solitaryrambler Yeah, I go with that Patrick. I enjoy the planning - was doing that last night. Oh for sure the Wye Valley and FoD ones. A pleasure as always.
Nice one Mark, I've no doubt you've been planning to go somewhere wonderful. Look forward to seeing where that is when you publish it. All the best 👍
@@solitaryrambler Thanks Patrick - a return to the Upper Wye.
Never been keen for Malta and your review confirmed what I thought .not a green paradise.
That was only my personal opinion, many others love Malta. See for yourself as you may enjoy it 👍
Jaipur it is then 👍
Thanks Peter👍😁
At 1.02....🤔, I have subscribed 6 yrs ago...😂
Are you sure??? 👍😂😂😂
7000, Well done Patrick. I noticed you mentioned Malta. Well I am probably a bit biased because I have a villa out there in Mellieha, but in my experience many people (Not you) holiday out there and just stay in the resort or pub, there is loads to see if you do your research, two examples Mdina and Fort Rinella, If you go in the winter it transforms and it's actually quite a green Island in places. However, to get back to England, I agree the Manifold valley is lovely, especially on a nice day. Looking forward to episode two, :)
Many thanks Alan. I know lots of people who love Malta, some who go many times. It just didn't appeal to me really enough to want to go back again that's all. When we were there we stayed in Sliema where there were some lovely restaurants. I enjoyed visiting Valletta too, which was a lovely town. We did go to Rabat and Mdina and I liked it there. Gozo was my favourite place I recall, which is where that photo of me was taken. Glad you like the Manifold Valley too. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍
