Advance the rafts to Wet Willies, increasing the river bonus to 6 and completely all challenges is what is required to get the wizard mode. It isn't easy. I have owned one for years and did it once. It's the river bonus that is the tough one. It is a unique game and love how the music and pop bumpers change sound the more rafts you get.
In the correct order and you have to finish by a multi-ball if I remember correctly. I've had my ww for 20 years now and will never sell it (unless I really don't have any other choice)
White Water has the best wizard mode! The Vacation Jackpot is so satisfying, it'll keep you coming back again and again. On the 5x front, it is something you can control, bringing 5x into multiball is the go to scoring strategy for a high score, it's just not consistent enough for match play. With that said, I think playing this game for score costs 90% of the fun. Play for wizard mode and you will grind it with a big smile on your face!
I love how the machine dies for a second with White Water, the first time someone gets it there's always this awesome moment where they wonder what's happening and then it freaks out. There's lots of great wizard modes with more going on, but there's something special about White Water!
What I don't like about the game that it does not "flow" so good, as the gameplay i interrupted often by unexpected drains. And the game has no ball saver (unless you don't score a point). For example there should be a ball saver for the mine because often the ball comes out there nearly not holdable and that has nothing to do with skill. Better games with better gameflow were Fish Tales and Doctor Who, which came out around the same time (I remember having these three plus Dracula and an old Bride of Pinbot in one arcade in 1993 and jumping between the machines a lot).

You think? I like other wizard modes much more, like the Medieval Madness with its dramatic music while you try to defeat the King.

It’s a cool moment, but it’s not a mode exactly.
