I'm currently watching this anime, and I am really amazed by how good it is. Sometimes it's so dark, but it's really cool. The personality disorder shook me, I've never watched an anime that would use an actual psychiatric illness in a character.
Yu Yu Hakusho will forever be my fav shonen anime 💜 I kinda wish we could get a reboot like HxH and get a fresh look and animation style, but at the same time I don’t want it to be touched 😭
I don’t really think it needs a remake. It’s timeless as is and regardless of whatever new bells and whistles a potential remake would have, most of us would probably still prefer the older series

Anime still holds up 20+ years later. Can’t think of many old series that are as good as this one, it was definitely ahead of its time.
