The amount of influence this man had on media was unimaginable, rest in peace.
In the words of Dave Chappelle, you know you've made when everything before you is considered obsolete and everything after you bears your mark.
Still remember when I recently watched goku go super saiyan on namek I had this bully at school that would pick on me and my friends

Akira is what inspired me to even consider manga creation and the Japanese figure. I truly hope he rest well, he deserves it.

Really sad to lose a mangaka legend like Akira Toriyama who laid the stepping stones inspiring renowned popular mangakas today like Masashi Kishimoto, Tite Kubo and Oda who also inspired. His death impacted me the same with Kazuki Takahashi’s tragic passing since the news is shocking and came out of nowhere. He will be greatly missed.
Dragon ball was literally the first anime I ever watched. Like ever. I remember my dad bringing home vhs tapes for me and my siblings to watch. And all of us got so immersed in them. Even the dozens of games. RIP Akira Toriyama, you will be greatly missed.

A hero of the manga world. He gave ours and the current generation a magic of creativity determination and values. One that stuck with me growing up was Always push to be better nomatter what happens and things will work out.

Years ago, I had the God and Demon kanji tattooed on my pecs. I’ll think of him each time I see them. The reason I got locs was to ponytail them like Trunks. RIP Toriyama-Sensei, his work will stand the test of time.
This man had positive influence on millions of people. A legend of the industry too, im sure many of us were exposed to anime through dragon ball. It feel really strange to hear that he's gone now, but may he rest in peace
