I love,love that blue you used for the jumbo scrunchie. I have been wanting to buy a sewing machine and I just might next year due to your videos. I want to design my own painting aprons.
Thank you for this great video! Two questions: Is there a limit to how jumbo you can make the scrunchie or anything you should keep in mind if you try making a bigger one? Two, what sewing machine do you have? I think I have the same one. Learning about the bobkin was really cool! I always love information about helpful tools for crafting.
Thanks for the questions! On the size of the jumbo scrunchie, I’d say the main things to look out for it the width of the fabric and the length of the elastic. If the width is too wide, it probably wouldn’t fluff up very well and be kinda flat. If the elastic is too long, it may turn into a headband instead of a scrunchie. 😂 My machine is Janome New Home Model 108! She’s an old beast and my favorite machine out of the three I have! 😍

Oooooh that sounds fun! I haven’t made an apron in a long time but they’re so useful and fun. Glad I can help push you in the sewing direction! 🤣😊

@WeblightDreamsStudio done waiting
Bodkins have been around for a long time. I bought two different ones in a package and use them a lot.
They’re a lifesaver for sure! I can’t believe I tried to make stuff without one for so long 😂
Those would make cute ankle cuffs if someone were making some kind of clown cosplay or something.
Yeah that’s a great idea! Thanks for sharing
