I'd just like to see one in a non gaming phone that's available to buy in the UK, the mi mix 4 looked nice but it never got a global launch and the mi mix 5 went MIA. An honor magic or a Samsung galaxy with a under screen camera would be great.

That sounds like a privacy nightmare considering the security concerns that come with putting cameras in internet enabled devices already. The only way I could stand it is if they figure out a way to sandwich a privacy slider between the camera and the screen.

@@MedicalscapeI still can't believe it's aboyt 1% lower than the s23 ultra but if you keep in mind that smartlhone bezels are always mind up of the first black bezels and then the 2nd metal frame u can see the metal frame part is decently large where the black bezels themselves are pretty small. Either way still much better looking overall even if the screen to body ratio isn't anything out of the ordinary. You can look at gsm arena and they have that metric and the much less misleading screen area metric . In case u didn't know screen diagonal is skewed the taller the phone is in aspect ratio. That's why the z fold is only an extra inch in diagonal despite being over double the screen area bcuz it goes from extremely tall to extremely square. Interesting to me at least when i found out idk.

At least that's one of the only positive changes samsung has recently made with their phones too even if by less along with iphones. The thinner the phone the more it needs a bulkier case too which defeats the whole purpose but yeah either way, the fan ain't it I agree.

I feel like Samsung should release a lower production variant of the s23u with an underdisplay camera, a slimmed down symmetrical chin and slightly more thickness for cooling and more battery for a way more well rounded version of this in everything except under display selfie quality and how well bezels are hidden, s23u still actually has a slightly higher screen to body ratio with the hole bcuz the red magic's bezels are just proportionally more of the metal frame rather than the black part which does look better even if u don't get more screen but besides that in the US they're not far off in price to the s23u with clear cost cuts including the actual panel's quality itself in brightness and colour accuracy (ie 800 vs 1300 nits measured, ignoring the higher claims of both), the rear cameras and the obv software ofc

When I was in Japan, there were exponentially more phones than the few offered here in America. Miss my J-phone! 😄
I love the fact that this channel provides yet another window into the world though. Thanks for all you do! ❤️

I just got mine delivered today. Pretty excited to see how I end up liking it. It's my first gaming phone.
Your videos are awesome! Do you have any suggestions on a site or videos where I could potentially learn how to do some of the things you do throughout your taredowns? It would be sweet to learn how to fix/replace/troubleshoot phones and simular devices.

I love your content and the time and effort you put into the teardowns! So methodical (with a hint of madness) and fulfilling - kinda like ASMR for engineers!
Do you usually prepare a lot beforehand or just .. 'wing' it? 😁

Props to Nubia for never settling and designed one of the most beautiful phones ever made - from the front and back. I wonder when will we see such beauty in mainstream phones 🤷🏻‍♂️

It would be interesting to see how much of a performance difference that little fan would bring along with the (slightly dmaged) copper pads 😂
If possible it would be great if ypu could do a comparison

I would imagine it to be a measurable, but not huge difference since the air duct does not contain any fins for heat dissipation or is even made of copper. Definitely went for form over function

I realize theres no point trying to convince you, but my birthday is coming up soon, and currently my phones missing its entire back camera glass, the cameras still work, but I could totally do with a new phone. I also love taking stuff apart, though unlike you I cant normally afford to replace the stuff I accidentally break. Thanks for the great content!

Your channel actually helped me pick which phone to get between this and the ROG this initially had been my choice due to its better durability but the fact that it's infamous for it's software issues and lack of support for it is what sold me on the RPG instead.
Luckily I don't intend to have it go through the rigorous test you placed it under and have always been very careful with my stuff so you showing me what it can and can't take gets me a better understanding on how to better care for it.

If need for good long gaming sessions ,choose REDMAGIC 8 .The size really do matters as it packs Much of engineering needed for COOLING🥶❄️ the CPU for keeping those frame rates CONSTANT .Again THANKS Zack 🤍,You do show us the reason for picking the phone (from the Inside) 🤝.Also the LG WING you did mention has good hardware and software . I would be THANKFUL 🤍 if had it because i do OWN a low spec😓(Nokia 3.1) and it gives me HARD times 😣 and much loading especially when i connect it to Cellular 😕. Would be thankful if a have to switch 😌. THANKS 💚.

I wish I could have this phone. I'm not even a big mobile gamer but I bought the Razer Phone 2 when it went on sale and was my first true flagship spec phone since switching away from iPhone. I bought it because it looked cool and fancy and had excellent RAM and CPU for its time *and* it was on a massive discount from its original near $800 price tag by the time I got it. I wish more "standard" phones would implement cool RGBs more often, I did end up switching away from gaming phones back to ordinary ones due to the high specs for low prices offered by Xiaomi phones.
