Hi Lara, so glad to hear that these videos are helpful. I responded to your comment here as well: ua-cam.com/users/livestaDPtlCsSs?feature=share Wishing you all the best.
Thank you so much. I have learned Tai Chi with a few different instructors over the years (all Yang style) and I watch several Tai Chi channels and see many variations in the forms. I presume these are a natural consequence of Tai Chi's long tradition in that variations have occurred through generations and regions. Specifically: I have been taught in the past Parting Wild Horse's Mane with palm lightly curved "toward the heart" as a specific cue, and in your variation I see palm up as a specific cue. Is there a known regional or stylistic difference, or perhaps a practical (martial) variation that makes the palm-up version preferable? Would love to hear this addressed in a "live" if you have a chance.
Hi Elizabeth, Thank you for the great question. I am sorry I ran out of time in my previous live stream before I answered it, but I did answer it during today's live stream: ua-cam.com/users/liveNRDsk-f-h7w?feature=share. I hope the answer is helpful! Wishing you all the best!
Thank you🙏
