I remember auditioning for legally blonde. This woman came in a full costume, hair and makeup done, and was GLARING at every woman who came in the room. I just wanted to say "honey this is community theatre calm it down"
😂😂 Thanks for watching and sharing!
Seen 5/10 on my very first audition. the "singer" wasn't even humming... she was BELTING! and she sounded sooooo good. i got insecure and 100x more nervous than i already was. i tried so hard to calm myself down saying "it's okay. everyone's different. you prepared something. just do your best on that." i remember thinking i don't have a chance lol
We know this feeling!!! Thanks for sharing your story Cedie! You got this!
@@32BARCUT Thank you! :)
i can't believe how applicable this is even to a high school play's audition waiting room 😅
That is so funny! But I’m also not surprised! Thanks for watching!
Lol nobody paid you, nobody bought a ticket… I love that quote!!!!😆😆😆😆
This is lit!!! Truly a reminder of all the bad habits we as actors need to control. Seen it all.
I've definitely been the informant before, its mostly part of my overall post audition anxiety, when I really should be trying to distance myself from it and move on to wait for callbacks
so fun! haha! i loved this! and yes, we all do some of this so emphasizing the way we do it (subtly, responsibly, etc.) and encouraging basic awareness is really useful :) Sometimes I've been an "informer" when someone directly asks me what they asked for when I walk out the door (awkward!) What do you suggest? b/c others are listening/watching and you don't want to see "withholding"...
Thanks for watching Madeline and for your question! If someone asks you directly, feel free to answer and be your authentic self. Just be mindful that maybe everyone in the space may not want to hear the answer.
I have seen every one on the list and sadly sometimes been some of them depending on how well I knew the people. Thanks for all your advice.
We are guilty too!
Thanks for watching and subscribing!
🙋🏼♀️ I’m the stretcher. On any regular day 😂
I find this so insightful and entertaining!!!!!
Y’all are on point with this list😆
Thanks for watching! 😂
Oh my gosh I had a really bad Rent audition last year.
Ya'll are just exposing LOL im laughing so hard rn
😂😂😂
Is there an appropriate question akin to “what are you up to” that doesn’t force people into an awkward resume scenario? Should you leave it at “how are you?”
OH MY GOSH THE SINGER IS SO ANNOYING
