I love how they all seem relatively normal beasts, then in rolls Starboy Scott, the friendly neighborhood designer that could just nuke your neighborhood if he wanted.

@@taurosrider1369 Scott really is the least beast like with his home. Like everyone else has stuff like caves, trees or a random nest thousands of blocks away. Scott just went "Nah, I'm gonna have a sparkly cathedral".

THEY’VE DONE THAT ALREADY I THINK!
Elytrians were wild, dangerous predators. They tore through the skies, stealing resources out from under the noses of villagers and players alike. This one, dubbed the Angel of Death for its pitch black wings, had been a particular terror for far too long, to the point that an entire village had gathered every diamond they could to afford the best hunter in all of Minecraft
Technoblade
It had taken time to track down the Elytrian's nest, and even longer to prepare the trebuchet with the net. Still, Technoblade was nothing if not patient, and he finally managed to bring down the flying pest. However, when he came to hunt down the creature, what he saw was not the massive bird-like beast he had expected. No... it almost looked human. Still, Techno had a job to do, and he'd been paid up front. So, he lifted his blade, preparing to strike down the Angel of Death.
As he aimed his sword at the beast's neck, very human-like fear flickered across its face. It cawed and warbled, then seemed to brace itself. Techno's sword shook, then slowly lowered, the warrior cursing under his breath. Why? Why did it have to look so... so HUMAN?! He couldn't do it. He just... couldn't. His eyes fell across the beast's form, seeing wounds inflicted by his trap, and the multitude of broken feathers littering the ground.
He had to fix this...
The Elytrian's eyes snapped open when it heard the ropes being cut. It felt its bindings go slack, its limbs and wings free. The second the last rope was cut, the beast struck. Its wing smacked Technoblade into a massive boulder, disorienting him long enough for the Elytrian to get to its feet. Talons as sharp as knives tug into the flesh of the warrior's neck, their eyes locking. Techno's face was filled with fear, his sword discarded on the ground, leaving him defenseless. The Elytrian was a mixture of confused, scared, and angry. Why had this warrior not struck it down? Just what was he planning to do?
It couldn't afford to be caught, and it couldn't afford to be seen. Its other hand came up, talons elongated threateningly. Now, it was Techno's turn to brace him, certain that he was about to draw his final breath. Instead, something happened that the warrior did not expect.
"Leave me alone!"
Techno's eyes flew open as the Elytrian backed up, panting slightly before turning on its heels and taking to the sky. It flew off, leaving a stunned Techno to nurse his wounds alone.

Techno walked through the deep spruce forest, surrounded by the thick darkness of trees. Dim moonlight illuminated the dirt path, that was almost impossible to see due to no one using it for a long time. It would probably be an amazing spot for morning walks, if not for the dangers hidden here.
Technoblade has heard of this forest for the first time when he was passing by a nearby town. He stopped at an old, run-down tavern to buy some supplies for his next journey. He didn’t need much - just some food, a few golden apples just in case and maybe a new bow, since the old one was almost broken. He left his horse, Carl, in a stable and walked into the building in hopes of getting a small beer. However, what he didn’t expect what he found.
The tavern looked too quiet for the amount of people that sat there. He could hear the hushed whispers and crying. Everyone was talking about one thing. A beast more powerful than anyone in this world. A monster, half-human and half-bird, dubbed Angel of Death. He was said to murder anyone who entered the forest. He tortured his victims and left them handing on the branches of trees on the edge of the forest. Their bodies were often massacred, covered in cuts. The forest was told to be haunted by itself. No adult ever left the forest alive. It was different with children. They often told about a nice woman dressed in black or about an old man with blond hair. Even though no minors were ever killed, everyone was scared to let their kids play near it.
It was a perfect task for Technoblade. He was the best hunter in the world - he was smart, fast and merciless. “Technoblade never dies”, they said. He killed while armies and was well known in the bigger and smaller villages that littered the realm. Besides, he needed the money.
There was a high bounty placed on the hybrid’s head. There were many brave and stupid people who tried to capture the monster, but they all failed. So he promised to be the first to win.
Now, he wasn’t foolish, he wouldn’t try to fight the monster in close combat. He would have to think out of the box. He set up an elaborate trap, which allowed him to catch the flying abomination in a net. Fortunately for him, all the supplies that were needed could be found in the village. He got to work and the next night he could try his invention.
He waited for the winged creature to appear on the dark, clear sky. The stars that night were really bright, so he quickly caught a sight of the wings, moving through the void. Soon enough, he could hear a thud and a scream. He won.
Techno smirked victoriously. He light up a torch, as he didn’t want to fall over and find himself covered in dirt. The forest was loud, branches cracking and wind whistling. It was almost like it was telling him to go away and never come back. He had to be quick. Since the beast wasn’t probably able to move, it was an easy job. Find it and kill it. Sounds simple. He suddenly heard a something shuffling and he knew he was close. After a few steps he could see something on the ground. Perfect.
He walked towards the creature, putting out his torch. The half-bird turned to him, its feature showing off in the gentle light of the moon. Techno could see the majestic black wings, now restrained by a rope. The slick, dark talons ended beast’s hands and black feathers shined behind its ears. Fury was painted on its face, it seemed ready to attack every second. It trashed in the ropes, its hand and legs blocked.
Techno unsheathed his sword, taking a step towards the beast. That’s when he noticed the fear in its eyes. It was so... human. In its current state, the creature looked almost like a normal man, helpless and scared. Techno shook his head. No. He had job to do.
As he raised his sword, he looked in its eyes again and saw something else, something that he would never expect to see. Resignation. The monster just closed its eyes, letting the tears stream onto the dry soil. It completely submitted itself to Technoblade and its fate.
Techno hesitated. Did it deserve to be killed? So many people had tried hurting it, killing it. Yes, it killed people, but didn’t Techno do the same? It never went out of the forest to kill someone. It never killed children. It was just trying to protect itself, like Techno did all those years after he was abandoned by everyone. Maybe the beast wasn’t such a beast after all?
He slowly approached the winged being and cut the ropes, freeing it. In split seconds, when it realised it could move again, Techno was slammed into a tree. He dropped his sword in surprise. Now he was unarmed while the creature squeezed his neck chocking him, the sharp talons digging into the skin and flesh. Blood started dripping down his chin.
The monster looked him in the eyes with rage. He knew well what freeing the beast would result in. He just took a shaky breath and closed his eyes ready for his doom. This is how Technoblade would die.
Suddenly his body was released from the deathly grip. He slowly opened his eyes and saw the creature standing with its back to him, wings in their whole glory. It turned its head around and locked its eyes with Techno’s. There was no more fury in them - just curiosity and confusion. The winged figure shot him one last glance before soaring into the night sky.
When Techno walked back, the forest was a lot calmer, almost fully silent. It let him ponder on what just happened and what was that creature.
Luckily for him, he would be able to find out soon enough.

HOW ARE YOU EVERYWHERE
As the mighty warrior approached the downed beast, he sighed. The next part was never easy.
The warrior was never one to hunt for sport, prefering the bloodshed of battle, but this was no hunt for some deer or moose, he had come to this realm to end the very species that caused him so much pain.
The Elytrians.
And he had found the last of it's kind. Here it was. He'd never seen one before, with all of them having been hunted down and slain for their feathers, which were known to be especially beautiful.
But he was not here for the feathers, though he could pawn those of to help pay for things. He was here for revenge. The Elytrians had taken so much from him. His village had been attacked when he was a child, burned to the ground. Almost no one escaped, many burning in the fire... he wanted to go back and help his parents, but the other villagers knew the dangers of fire, and held him back.
When he was older, the villagers he called family explained what happened to his real parents. And now... he could finally get revenge.

He walked around a large rock, and marveled at his prey caught in the net from a ballista he had built. He looked it over, slowly taking it all.
But... there was something wrong. Yes, the beast had the talons and wings of a bird, but it has the body of a man.
He walked around to the front of the beast and almost jumped in shock. This was not the face of a fearsome beast, he was staring at the face of a man!
The warriors face contourted in one of shock and disgust. How could comething so human like be so evil!
He looked into it's eye, and raised his sword, preparing to rid the universe of Elytrians once and for all. He took once last look into the face of his prey, and stopped.
The beast was preparing to die, for it knew that this man had every intention to kill it. It heard the swish of the sword, and thought it's last thought. But... seconds went by, then minutes, and it was still alive.
The warrior stood, his sword hung inches above the beasts' neck. He couldn't do it. He put his sword back in it's sheath on his belt, and drew his knife instead.
The beast heard a snap, and felt the ropes binding it's arms, legs, and wings loosen. As the last one snapped, it sprung to it's feet, twirling around and throwing the man away with it's powerful wings.
Pining the man against a tree, the beast could see the fear in his eyes. The Elytrian raised his free hand, and drew an imaginary line across the man's throat with a single talon.
The man nodded, raising his hands and dropping his knife. The Elytrian turned to fly away, dropping the man to the ground.
The warrior watched the Elytrian fly away, but noted the beast did so with much difficulty. He turned to head back to civilization, but stopped when he heard the Elytrian fall to the ground again. The warriors eye's shown with a glint of excitement. This was definitely the beginning of another amazing adventure.

This reminds me of a story, there was a man who came across a snake in a lit fire pit, he quickly tried to get the snake out but it bit him and fell back in, he looked around and found a stick to pull him out with, unbeknownst to him a woman was watching, she asked him why he continued to save the snake after it bit him, he said " it is in the snakes nature to bite, but that will not change my nature to help"
I just realized techno is a human that is surrounded by hybrids and just imagine. The hybrids think techno is one because of his fighting skills and do all sorts of things to see what his other half is(techno having some close calls with mumza) and they think techno is joking when he says hes human

Techno wanted to do a roleplaying on the originsmp where hè didnt know what was he, so image this is their first interaction a few years later Phil create a community with the others for the monsters that are haunted down from humans (The pube), then a new member appears and that is technoblade, a warrior/hunter that one day start to develop monster traits, the others hunters start to attack him, he run away until one day Phil find him and decide to helping him remembering this moment
it looks like the starting of an incredible friendship

STORY TIME!!!
Elytrians are seen as the unholy offspring of the sky and earth. Wings to soar the sky, feet to walk the earth, claws that strike anyone coming near, they were a sight to behold and a prize for glory to most. Thus they were hunted down, their feathers found their place in people's wardrobes, claws removed and turned into unparalleled swords, their wings displayed on walls of nobility and men claiming to be heroes. But like all creatures, Elytrians fought back till humans drove them to extinction.
All but one.
Tales of the winged creatures spread across the lands till it slowly lost to time and faded away, little by little, humans forgot the wars and the trophies were moved to storage where no light of day will ever see them again.
Techno was just a boy when he met one, a boy who was raised to follow the beliefs of his people, his village, the elders. They believe that all creatures from the skeletons to the phantoms to the ravagers and pillagers, that all of them are unholy creations of the devil and need to be destroyed.
So when he was hunting Phantoms and caught something else, Techno felt he won the lottery and was gonna be able to bring glory to his village, he'll become a hero and-
The blue eyes of the creature widen in fright, eyes clear as the morning skies, but clouded with fear. Silence fell upon the boy as he could see the creature's eyes, begging him to set him free, only for his expression to fall as Techno's hand reaches for his sword. Turning his head to the side, the creature willingly reveals his neck to the boy, as if accepting his fate with his eyes now closed.
Techno freezes at this before glancing at the creature's body, beautiful crow wings stuck between the trap's sturdy ropes, the hands were claws that are unable to move yet he had a face and body like his. Though he looked like a monster in the words of his elders, this creatur- this man was like him, scared and alone in this world.
Phil's eyes snapped wide as he felt the tight hold of the rope loosening, he had already accepted his fate, to see his family and friends on the other side. Adrenaline fills him as he instantly pins the boy on a tree after he is released, his mind still clouded with fear as his claws slowly inch closer to the child's face when he stops. The boy turned away, revealing his neck as if he accepted his fate. The same thing Phil had done before this one decided he had the right to live.
Without another word, Phil moved away from Techno, who only looked at him in shock and confusion. Out stretching his wings, Phil flies away, leaving Techno alone to watch the majestic man soar up into the moonlit sky.

I just imagine techno being all "hell yeah I caught one!" and then seeing Phil. He looks too human compared to the imagined illustrations. He cant bring himself to do... there really was no plan, just find one and confirm they exist. So he's apologizing as he starts cutting phil free. However, phil is having a damn crisis. All he hears is white noise because he thinks hes about to be captured and cut into way too many pieces so he goes on the defensive, shows he's strong (not entirely stronger, but definitely strong. Like a proof of dominance in a sense) and then flies away. I imagine he'd feel pretty guilty but justified in his actions. Humans are curious things but the satiation for curiosity should not come at the expense of other creatures. They meet up again while techno is hunting alongside a wolf and the whole catch goes to the wolf. So phil drops down a sack of bread from a tree like the father bird he is. Thus began their slow but impending friendship/father figure-son relationship.

theory: the origin smp happened WAY before dream smp but most people who have power just stopped using them but because they have powers their life is also extended and people like wilbur learned how to turn human but it made them insane doing so because they we so use to living that life they had also the reason i say this is because this would be when philza had his wings
What if their descendants, and over time they lost their abilities to fit more into human society to stop being hunted. And maybe Phil is part of a group of elitrians that didn’t fully try to fit in and kept their wings.

Have I mentioned how much I absolutely love this? The how to train your dragon, the story, the implications, the *style*. This is so good!
Something about making Philza the dragon.. the “could kill you immediately” factor and the fact that he overpowered Techno(?) in seconds *if not less.*
It has me breathless
Techno had spent the night putting down traps for anything. (Kinda going off an idea I had on another video, about some of the origins being cannibal) In this world anything could be dangerous, even something that looked partially human. Not to mention he needed the meat. Even cooked potatoes could only go so far, maybe a wild animal could wander in and bam, he'd have something to cook and eat. But when he woke up and he discovered one of his traps disturbed, he found nothing in the trap. The ropes were broken, apparently whatever it was that wandered in got out, but a substantial amount of the ropes were gone as well. If it was still tangled up in them it might not have gotten far. He heard noises in the forest and his head shot up. He smiled, it definitely hadn't gone far.
He followed the noises and found an origin, this one was a winged man with claws instead of hands and feet. He put a hand on his sword, knowing these could be dangerous. It would be better to kill it, he had almost been killed by an origin a while back. He drew his sword and as he was about to stab it, he saw it's face. It looked at him, panicked then closed it's eyes, like it was resigned and bracing for the killing blow. He was slightly shocked, but quickly tried to shake his thoughts. It's not human, don't think about it. It's not that hard, just a thrust of your sword into it's chest. But as he tried to get himself to kill the bird-man thing he found more and more he couldn't. Even the voices were begging he spare them. Damn it, he dropped the sword to his side and walked to the ropes and start sawing at them, careful not to hurt the origin and un-noticing of the look of surprise on the origin's face.
Phil was shocked to hear the ropes being cut and started testing the ropes as he felt the human cutting through them. When they finally cut the ones around his legs, Philza jumped up and pinned them to a tree. He knew they would have killed him based on the look on their face before, but they didn't. He didn't know why they would have killed him and why they didn't, but he couldn't bring himself to do anything other than lift his wings in preparation for flight, turn away, and liftoff swiftly away from the human man and, just in case, swirl through the air to avoid anything that they might decide to try shoot at him.
And that was how OSMP Techno and OSMP Phil met for the first time.
Yo this is sick! Our stories really are similar, like how we switched the points of view from Techno to Phil. Awesome work!

It had been three days since Techno had set up the trap, and for three days he hadn't caught anything. Techno sighed as he left his shack in the woods. How could a Blood God not catch ANYTHING to eat? He was starving.
Techno swung his sword over his shoulder as he entered the woods, heading in the direction of the trap. His boots crunched through the dead fall leaves. The smell of ripe apples tingled his nose. Winter was coming. He needed to stock up on food fast, before the forest wildlife went into hibernation.
The sun began to set, and the Blood God lit a torch. "You're scared of the dark," the voices chanted over and over, taunting him.
"Shut up," Techno mumbled.
He was almost to the trap.
CRUNCH.
Technoblade jumped, holding his torch out in front of him. Just beyond a patch of shrubs, a large, black wing struggled against a tangle of ropes.
Techno smiled, pulling out his sword, approaching cautiously. "Dinner tonight," he said to himself. "What a big bird."
He circled the creature. Its body was hidden by its massive wings. Techno held up his sword to strike it down-
The wings unfolded, revealing a man. His hair was a golden halo, his shirt was the colour of the trees and grass surrounding Techno. His eyes were a snowy tundra, its blue core drilling into Techno's soul. His face showed a mad man, dangerous, yet, fear behind the crazed expression. He was sad... and scared.
Techno lowered his sword but kept it close. "What has the world done to you?" he thought.
"KILL, BLOOD GOD! KILL THE BIRD!" The voices screamed. Techno flinched. The voices knew who this man was. They had never been so anxious for him to spill blood before. Nevertheless, Techno couldn't bear the screaming. He raised his sword over the struggling man, ready to deliver the blow.
The man stopped his squirming. He looked up at Techno, his eyes growing empty and cold. He closed them, his brow furrowed, fear shaking his body. But he stayed still.
He stayed still.
Technoblade softened, and for once, the voices were-
He looked over the helpless creature, cowering before him. He scanned the ropes tying down the man's body.
-Silent.
So, so silent.
Like his old family.
Like his former enemies.
Philza opened his eyes. His hunter was slicing away the ropes, one by one. His face showed his pain, but from what? Philza did not know.
The ropes fell away.
Philza's claws stretched.
The man jumped up, slamming Techno against a nearby tree. The feathers that stuck from the side of the strangers face folded back. His eyes were crazed once again. For once in his life, Techno felt hunted.
Philza glowered at his new prey. Their pink hair glowed red in the embers of the setting sun. "Should I kill you?" He thought. But as Phil watched the hunter, he began to feel something. Like a string connecting them, not just his clawed hand. This person was important.
The hybrid brushed Technoblade's hair aside, looking into his terrified red eyes. He released Techno's neck. Technoblade coughed, his throat dry and hoarse. When his vision focused, all he could see was a black bird flying away, disappearing behind the clouds in the dark sky.
All Techno could do was watch.
Then the voices were back. So was his hunger.
"Food. Right." The Blood God sheathed his sword, walking away.
He would remember his encounter with the Angel of Death, but would never think anymore about it.
Until hundreds of years later, after the voices were finally revealed to be one voice.
A voice that he would never forget.
"Got any withers skulls, Techno?"

YOUR AUS ARE EVERYTHING. OH my gosh, the emotion and action in Casserole's art style is mind-blowing, like with such a gorgeous 'messy' animatic, it communicates so much emotion and the music was on POINT

But this was really awesome, I loved all of the emotions that were portrayed here! The fear but recognition in Phil's eyes was just a phenomenal thing.

I’ve watched this half a dozen times now and I can’t get over how well done this is. The emotions are all conveyed so well, and the motion is so dynamic. We haven’t even had Origins lore and you artists are already making such cool content for it
As soon as the music started I was like... "Oh yes, how to train your dragon vibes inbound."
It took me a minute to realize that was Techno, because I've had my eyes open without blinking for too long, but when I did I gasped and re-watched this maybe 8 times.

Every time you post something it takes my breath away. I adore how each of your animatic is it's own story that perfectly portrays the plot with living movements, changing scenery and emotional expressions that always just fit with the characters. Every time it all just seems so fluid and natural. Also the way you combined it with HTTYD music really hits on the nostalgic feels.
It's literally that one scene from the first movie of How to train your dragons.

I love this..... SO MUCH. Especially since I can see both acting that way, techno setting up a trap, feeling guilty then letting it go. Then philza, after being set free makes a huge play on intimidation so he doesn't get caught again XD I love it, it's such a perfect match
