Just tried to pair my new motorcycle headphones and also it worked just like in the video, the audio volume going through the headphones so low it's not really useful. It comes on and out continueously, and the audio in the Sena is still going through the speakers at the same time. When I plugged some headphones directly to the Sena, they take over the audio and the speakers aren't used. Is there a solution to reproduce this with a bluetooth headset and to increase the volume?
you have to hold it down till it says CONFIGURATION MODE. Listen to the instructions, keep holding it after pairing mode the next is config, thats what you want . *sigh*
Managed to get my Sena srl2 connected to an Interphone Tour, really easy. Trouble is, can't get either to initiate any other communication. The Interphone sees the Sena as a phone (as per instructions) but no conversation. Neither unit's method of opening a channel does anything at all. Any advice would be great.
On the SRL you would need to tap the center button to jump into intercom mode. On the other device you need to activate the voice dialer or redial. Somehow enter the phone mode on the second device so that it will speak with the Sena since the Interphone headset sees the Sena as a phone.
@@senatechnologies Thanks for the reply, though as I said, I tried both units stated methods of initiating a channel. I will test with another interphone next week, to make sure that unit isn't the problem. That said, it has never had a problem connecting with anything else.
Does this mean I can't have my phone connected at the same time? I have been connecting my 20s to friends using Pack-Talk, and every time we connect I loose my phone connection, or the intercom link will replace the link to my phone. I would also suggest that you update your app to accommodate starting pairing functions from the app. It would be so much easier to start any pairing from the app rather than holding buttons for x amount of seconds, turning steps and tap or double tap some button. After all, you usually have your helmet on when you attempt to pair with someone.
OK, I need to try and figure this out. I have been out riding with a friend and after the ride I had missed calls on my phone, and they were never routed to my 20s. Normally when I power up my Sena it will say "phone connected" but when I'm connected to my friend it says "device connected", so it appears that his headset takes the place of my phone.
OK, so what you are saying is that I need to have my phone so that I can see it. And when I get a call I have to close the intercom to my friend to answer the call, and that the 20s will not tell me that the phone is ringing. When I'm connected to another 20s, I get the ringtone through my 20s when I get a call, but this does not appear to happen in universal intercom.
I ride with a group that has some smh10, 10C(?), 20s evo (mine), and a couple 30k here and there. What is the best method to connect with the whole group as well as if we have a 20s Evo and three smh10? We have issues with people dropping off when we change positions sometimes.
In practice this only takes about 30 minutes to work out with your buddy
Thank you! I got to connect a Sena 50S and a Lexin G16, cheers!
Glad it helped!
Hi, do you use the lexin normal pairing or the phone mode?
I have the Sena SMH5. Do you know if this is a similar method? I can't seem to find an answer anywhere. Love Sena products otherwise...
Can a non sena product be used in the 8 way intercom

I attempted to pair but after holding down the 20s for 12 seconds to get onto pairing mode the jog dial only adjusts the volume.

Thank you for clearing that up for me, then it is as I suspected.
