This is as good a place as any to share my all time favorite story. Driving back to Albany from the 5/77 Ithaca show I wasn't peaking but was still tripping. So I wanted no involvement with law enforcement at all. I stayed in the right lane, white knuckling it the whole way home. About half way there I saw the blue/red lights in the rear view. But knew we were clean and cool. State trooper sidles up and asks how fast did I think I was going? Mind you this was the New York State Thruway. I guessed and said "55, 60?" And he replied " I clocked you at 9 miles per hour" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'm a grandfather now but my kids still tell that story

Whenever I'm dancing or listening to a Dead number, I've always pictured Snoopy doing his "Happy Dance" on top of his doghouse with Woodstock twittering and twirling in the air nearby!! This artist is a soulmate!
