Hey guys, you should all check out my buddy Dave's new UA-cam Channel and crazy model building project. He's pretty much the most prolific painter I know (right?!) and has done work you've likely seen before in tons of magazines and publications over the last ten years. Consider chucking in some bucks so he can build this monster of a model and you can all watch. God knows I'll never build a resin model that big again, so if you want to see it done he's your guy! :D - Ash
I fcking thank you really much for this videos!! Its over a year now were i buy the warlord and couldnt build it because i havent the plans! I searched like an idiot on google but didnt realize on youtube are videos for how to build! Thank you billion times the emperor bless you!! I Subscribe immediately
I've assembled a chaos warhound titan and it pushed my hobby skills to their limit. I would love to try and tackle a project of this magnitude (pop pop).
STORM LORD 30 pounds of resin at roughly 2 grand and I’m not even sure if that’s with weapon loadouTs. You’d want something very secure to transport this bad boy. If I had one I’d be looking into a custom carrying case with some laser cut foam, locking latches and a heavy duty handle 😂
How many people did it take to carry through the door, once it was built? Do you get asked to leave the shop when you show up on games night, with a warlord titan?
+Gerald Jerardo Hi Gerald, Sadly I didn't weigh everything before I started pulling it all out and cleaning it up. However I will be hanging on to the excess resin etc so I should be able to give you a weight later on in the project. I would guess that in total the boxes would roughly fit in a space that is 2' x 2' x 2'.
+Tim bucktoo Hi Tim, Out of the around 100 parts I've checked out so far (the legs plus a few other sections) I'm very happy to say there are no miscasts. There were a couple of pieces that have slight mold-shifts, giving a slightly deeper mold line, but nothing too bad at all. I'm hoping that keeps up during the entire build : )
They have such a nerve, charging that amount of money for some pieces of plastic and then not even removing the sprues themselves. You think a printed, flimsy card box is special? Most decent companies would package something of that markup in a hard card box and emboss it with details.
Sam 360 You are aware of what a sprue is? It is the pressure molded cast with injection channels left intact. Yes, for £900, I expect more than a pressure mold. You are all fools for paying those prices to a now faceless corporation, who will soon go under unless they change their despicable ways.
Do you really think you got produced Warlord number 53 of Thousands produced? Because it said so on a piece of paper without any mark\form of authenticity? It's a FW one but number 53? Really? ^_^
This Vid is cool probably the closest i come to seeing this massiv Titan up close :D thanks mate
My local GW owns a warlord called shrek. He is green and defends swamps. He is glorious
Nice

Wow... this video really has done the best so far to really give me a sense of the massive scale of these "miniatures" KUDOS!
Intrigued to see this project progress. Subscribed!
Am new to you channel but will be watching with much interest!! Thanks for going to the effort of putting these videos together
Looks daunting. Excited to see what you are able to do with it.
+Tyler Mengel
it is a bit daunting. As long as I can break it down into bite size chunks, I should be ok.
+Dave Taylor That's what she said. I didn't hang around for that!

Once I'm done I'll let you know how much it pushed my skills. It'll be a fierce opponent ; )

question
how heavy is the packaging of the titan? and dimension of the package box?

8 hours in and i just finished assembling the reaver, im so done this stuiff is annoying
Dave Taylor has a channel!?! : o
How long it takes to build this big baddy titan? looks huge and gona take a lot hours to build and paint
+pate petterson Yep, it took a long time. Six months of build and paint time : )
really want one of these, but it costs more than I paid for my car. gonna be a bit before I can afford me self a titan.
Question. Out of the hundreds of parts in this kit, how many were miscast? I imagine this thing is a nightmare
+Tim bucktoo
Hi Tim,
Out of the around 100 parts I've checked out so far (the legs plus a few other sections) I'm very happy to say there are no miscasts. There were a couple of pieces that have slight mold-shifts, giving a slightly deeper mold line, but nothing too bad at all. I'm hoping that keeps up during the entire build : )
Look forward to seeing more from this channel
How viable is that to use in game? It is awesome as hell but... That is just too damn huge! :D
i mean... i agree with you. it is huge, but one epic thing is that it can gently tap something with its toes and the thing that was tapped would die
how long did it take to clean the parts
Hey what resin do you use to bond your model ?
That's a lot of glue...
They have such a nerve, charging that amount of money for some pieces of plastic and then not even removing the sprues themselves.
You think a printed, flimsy card box is special? Most decent companies would package something of that markup in a hard card box and emboss it with details.
It's a model set it's supposed to be on a sprue
And if you think the design of a box is what you have to worry about in a £900 model set ur a silly samon
Plus there is over 300 pieces in that set and it comes in like 4 massive boxes
You silly goose
