@8min, the Vegetable Ivory referred to is Tagua Nut, which is as hard and as easy to carve as Ivory. Stag horn is not horn, it is Antler - which is a type of bone, not Keratin which horn is made from. Horn is malleable using heat and pressure, whereas bone is rigid and not malleable.
