If suddenly Sony drops the A7V, will you consider to switch? No matter the improvements that could be in it, or do you feel the A7IV lacks in some area? Loved the video!
I’m a bit of a tight a$$ 😂, so I’d only buy a new camera if my current one broke and was super old. I have no complaints about my a7IV, though I haven’t looked into the a7V yet. If I were to buy a new camera now, I’d definitely look into the a7V (keen to try it out and compare) My partner’s had two a7IVs break on him during weddings-the shutter got stuck, and the screen went black. Hopefully, the a7V is a bit more durable than that. But for now, my a7IV is still the best camera I’ve ever used, and it’s never had any issues 🤍
I currently only use primes. 20mm 35mm and an 85mm, all f1.8, are cheaper and lighter. If money were no object, I would want a Sony 28 70 f2 and a Sony 85mm 1.4 GMii, I wouldn't need anything more. If it were my heart's desire another 70 200 but not because I need it but because I like it. 28-70 f2 and 85mm 1.4 is all you need in my opinion. I've never needed anything lower than 28 mm.
I chose the godox 860iii instead of the v1. It's more difficult with the bounce card, it's another extra object. I don't use the flash by shooting it directly at the subject, it seems to me that it's a bad light. I heard that it can be creative etc. but at an event I want to capture some moments, not all 1000+ pictures will be creative because you played with the flash. Because I don't shoot it directly at the subject, then the modeling lamp is not useful either, it practically becomes useless. If you have a different opinion or use it differently.... I don't know, I'd really like to hear it, maybe I'll switch to the V1 too. Thanks.
