Thank you sir for visiting and showcasing the food of our state. I hope more people will now know about my state after your incredible coverage of my state. Thanks again and visit soon. 🤍🤍🤍
Why the dessert was named Deadbody the local gentleman couldn't answered rather confused the viewers. The fact is that after death, poor people in India used to take dead bodies from most hospitals wrapped in bamboo mats to their homes/crematoriums which is still sometimes seen. Someone of Tripura jokingly gave this name to the sweet item 'Deadbody' due to its similarity to luchi-wrapped halwa, which later became popular.
Really overwhelmed to see Anubhab sir you test every corner of Agartala street food, home food and restaurant food ,, there is still many more to discover flavour of urban and rural area of Agartala sir ,, hopefully Upcoming Durga puja biggest fastive season of Tripura you visit with your family ❤❤❤ You might be surprised ek tukra India also lives here very last corner of border ,,🎉🎉🎉🎉

Wow, I'd come all the way from the UK to eat any of that 😂😋👍 That Bengali Thali looked out of this world, I know the secret now so you can't hide it from me as I went to Nepal and ate proper dal bhat. It's all so good, then after that comes learning about the country and language which can be hard to do. Can't these street food vendors come to the UK and show us how real food is made..... please?
This Khola Pitha or Chitol Pitha is called Akshi Pithe among Ghoti people. My grandma used to make all these pithe during winter. But no offense Ghoti or Edeshi people dont put that much sugar while cooking. that person was aggregating. Even I dont even put sugar in everything but sometimes to balance the taste.
Yes today demography changed totally due to illegal immigrants Bangladeshis who entered Tripura, and native Tripuris became minority in their own land.
Bengalis were allowed to enter by the erstwhile Government of India. Even the Tribal Kings welcomed Bengali intellectuals to plan and expand the erstwhile Kingdom and then the city of Agartala. Reason of migration = Division of Bengal, India-Pakistan Wars before 1971, Bangladesh liberation War, 1971 ( predominant reasons) However due to rampant migration, the native indigenous= tribal population of Tripura became the minority Hence, the ethnic divide and claim of Bengalis being "illegal". Even though the Royal Family, who are tribals themselves and who were elected MPs of the then ruling party at the Centre ( Congress) supported the migration and settlement of Bengalis. Hence, Bengalis became the majority due to the massive influx of migrants.
@@k.dmanikyatripuri192 Sir, as per the Constitution of India, the Tripuris , the Tripuri Kings and the royal family also are the recipients of the Constitutional Status of Scheduled Tribes, be it Tripuris or the royal family.
