- The shift towards cleaner energy systems is interdependent with how the nexus between energy and water, agriculture, and natural ecosystems is managed. Meanwhile, technological disruptions, including artificial intelligence, have the potential to facilitate efforts in the low-carbon transition as leaders seek out ways to address the scalability, reliability and sustainability of today’s energy systems.
This session is part of the Accredited Programme, engaging thought leaders and visionary practitioners, held in partnership between the Council of Energy, Environment and Water and Agility, in association with the World Economic Forum’s Centre for Energy and Materials.
Hyliion 💪🏻
Thanks for sharing this. I am a simple man. I see Hyliion, I click like!
1. What are the technologies Hyliion has been developing and commercializing for sustainable low-carbon solutions?
(Thomas's response: 07:52-11:00)
2. How can your technologies and innovations ensure that energy systems within enclosed spaces are optimally designed and utilized? Additionally, how could this help integrate with other systems?
(Thomas's response: 22:53-29:15)
3. Nicky Hutley (economist from Australia) asks:
"Am I correct in understanding that you’re suggesting the emissions profile we’re currently assuming is overly optimistic, and that things might get significantly worse before they improve?"
(Thomas shares feedback Hyliion gets: 38:26-39:17)
4. Alice Charles (from Arup) asks:
"What are your thoughts on data centers in space?"
(Thomas along with others provides burning final thought due to panel time running out: 46:12-46:40)

I'll believe it when I see it. Thomas can't even sell T-shirts. Welcome to the land of make-believe!
