    The tour guide was trying to hint that you should wash your hands after touching the toilet seat. "The water works...." "OK" -then walks to the next room, LOL!

    Ron, I myself have always believed that we must not forget our past an how people built things because alot of them had very good ideas and the bunkers over the past hundred years have been getting nicer and stronger. I loved to watch this tour to see how they built this back in 1975, an I myst say I think this looks like it was a hurried up to finish job because they wanted to build alot of them in a short time. The bunkers that your company builds today are like the penthouse or a condo compared to this one an it would have been for the neighbors not your own family unless time was running out and they had to stop there to get out from the danger then after few days travel to your penthouse or condo. Huge difference between this one and your type you build. Thank you so much for posting this video and I'm looking forward to seeing the next ones you post. Share the Love and make this a better planet for everyone to be in. Love is the most powerful thing we have here on Earth and in our hearts to help others.

    Ron one thing to remember is the soviets based their time in a bunker based on a standard nuke bomb, they did not base it on the hydrogen bomb, or even the cobalt nuke, or even the neutron bomb.
    Some of the American nuclear test sites are still so hot, exposure to the radiation in the area is still lethal.
    In Russia in the Ural Mountains there is a lake where the soviets dumped nuke waste, 5 min on the shore even though is is covered with floating concrete spears, you still get a lethal dose of radiation.
    Even after the Chornobyl accident the soviets tried to re-inhabit the contaminated area, and found out that it was impossible even after the removed all the soil,and brought in new, it was still dangerous.

    Just a suggestion, the I beams you use as stiffeners on the plate walls , very good and strong , but a cheaper option and still keeping the strength is using old or new railway tracks .

    A fun fact, the old Soviet newspaper Pravda (Truth) was the most "read" newspaper of its time. In actuality it was used more for toilet paper than for reading, Even then most Russians knew the content of the paper was utter bull$h!t.
    Fun fact, even today in Greece you can find "public restrooms" in restaurants or even historical sites where there is no toilet seat on the toilet or no toilet Americans are used to but your traditional hole in the ground "French" toilets as they call them.
    It looks as if they could use a few pallets of the red bricks that were used by Huber Homes outside of Dayton Ohio. These bricks are so tough that they withstand freezing and thawing without breaking apart and are practically impossible to drill into without special drill bits. That back side of the brick entry house could use a few for a proper rebuild.

    Very neat old bunker. Everyone should get to see this stuff to remember just how crazy things were and hopefully we won't be doing that again. Still, having a bunker and being prepared is NEVER a bad idea. People called preppers nuts for a long time, until Covid came, and people were locked in their homes, and suddenly preppers were geniuses. Animals also store food in a secure area for winter, because that is the natural order of things. They know that bad things can happen, and food insecurity is a thing, so they learned to prepare just as we should.

    • @privettoli
      @privettoli 10 місяців тому

      I lived through the pandemic and haven't felt like I was somehow unprepared, what exactly did "preppers" do better during the pandemic? Had more toilet paper stashed away? Serious question.

    • @privettoli
      @privettoli 10 місяців тому

      The way I see it, if a real shit storm hits, it might as well be not worth surviving, but if the conditions will be livable, wasting time and money now for something that might not come seems unoptimal way to spend life, there just so many other stuff that benefits from time and money investment.

    • @mattycakes1161
      @mattycakes1161 10 місяців тому

      @@privettoli They had land, weren't trapped in an apartment, lived in decent areas, had a way to defend themselves, had food. We had no lockdowns or mandates, life was normal during the pandemic aside from some supply chain issues on some goods. If you lived in a Socialist Democrat State, I'm sure things were a lot more difficult.

    • @privettoli
      @privettoli 10 місяців тому +1

      @@mattycakes1161 I don't know where you had no lockdowns and had to defend yourself and eat canned food. I was living in Dallas area where there was strictly enforced mask mandate and there was absolutely no lack of food. Health mandates is not about Republican or Democrat it's about population density and how much the state believes it has the responsibility to care about people's health (and the people of that area demand response). Low density areas shouldn't have cared as much as L.A., Seattle or New York. Same goes within the state: people in California low-density villages didn't need to care as much about the virus as people living in Dallas or Houston.

    • @privettoli
      @privettoli 10 місяців тому +1

      @@mattycakes1161 in the context, when you say "socialist", it's probably "authoritarian" part that you dislike. Traditionally democrats have been thinking more about personal freedoms than Republicans but in the context of the pandemic some Republicans (definitely not all of them) wanted to keep the economy running as long as possible before taking any action to reduce the spread.

    A Question I have always wondered about when looking at Russian Architecture and Designs? Did the US start with Russian Design as a basis and Improve on it, or did Russia steal the US designs and find a way to make it cheaper?

    The best way to be prepared for whats coming is to trust in Jesus Christ and get the 1st ride out of here. It's called the rapture! Trust in the Lord 🙏 really It's that simple.

    • @seanhollibaugh3776
      @seanhollibaugh3776 11 місяців тому

      Somehow the people who keep saying the rapture is coming die before it happens.
      The rapture as a concept isn't even 200 years old yet, it's incredibly new to Christianity, and balances on almost nothing as far as scripture goes, like all the new religious movements to pop out of the American West, it's bullshit spread by charlatans.

    • @privettoli

      It sounds reasonable to not need a bunker if you believe in rapture.
