All the Wizards cast WANTS to be back, but it’s pretty clear Selena and Henrie want to put the story they want to tell first and then figure out natural integration. And from what I’ve extrapolated, and subsequently reported, it’s expected to premiere in the fall, probably for Halloween festivities like the original series was

I wish he had mentioned the weirdness with the release of the Total Drama reboot in USA vs all the other countries that have already had seasons 1 and 2 of the reboot. They just finally announced the release date and put out a trailer.

I'd wager the Wizards podcast is really the driving force behind the reboot. David & Selena have wanted it for years, but I think Disney seeing the popularity of the podcast is what drove them to give it the green light.

It’s funny how all the Nickelodeon projects from the 2000s and 90s can’t be rebooted because they’re so controversial and the actors are over it to the point that they’re starting to reboot stuff from the mid 2010s 🤣 it makes an 18 year old like me feel older than I am 😭😭😭

I feel bad for my little nephew who's going to be getting mostly hand-me-down shows and movies instead of originals. I think the Fraggle Rock sequel series is about the only good rebootmakequelthing I've seen, because it's made by people who actually care. I can't honestly think of anything else in the last few years I've liked.

Honestly, I don't mind more Phineas and Ferb. I'm a longtime Dwampyverse fan, like I have not just watched Phineas and Ferb. But also Milo Murphy's Law and even some of Hamster and Gretel. And considering how all three shows take place in the same universe, there being the season 2 premiere of MML, The Phineas and Ferb Effect, which was a crossover between MML and PnF, and well, like you mentioned, Candace Against the Universe. And also considering how The Phineas and Ferb Effect was a planned episode since 2016 when MML first got greenlit and how info about CATU was leaked for as far back as 2018. I'm not shocked that the show is returning. I am extremely happy that Dan and Swampy are working together again and are bringing back the PnF gang. Also, I want to note that no, the WAG strike did not delay anything related to PnF's new episodes. Dan had confirmed this when an announcement came up about the show during the strike. But it may possibly get delayed for the possible upcoming Animation Guild strike that might happen soon. So yeah, just wanna put that out there.
I was born in 2005 so that means when Henry Danger came out I was 9 years old. I watched this show religiously and was really excited when it was announced that a movie was finally coming out. Throughout the series it was tease that Henry and Charlotte would become a couple but it never happened. Hopefully they do become a couple in the movie because that would complete my life

Henry Danger had a crossover with The Thundermans, so they might throw in some easter eggs from The Thundermans movie in the Henry Danger movie, since they're in the same universe, not to mention the ending of The Thundermans movie left some stuff up in the air. Maybe for the Henry Danger movie to resolve/add to??

yeah henry danger, game shakers, and thundermans were very late in the game but most of us are now 18-21. we prefer other shows that came out earlier before 2014 but it’s still childhood

People mad that Paramount says yes to a live action Danny Phantom movie and yet say no to a fully animated revival. I can understand why, it’s because of how poorly Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie did in TV ratings that Nick decided to dump Rocko: Static Cling and Zim: Enter the Florpus onto Netflix and scrap future plans for more animated Nicktoon revivals.
That wouldn'tve happened if Nick just decided to rerun the entirety of Hey Arnold + the first movie on the main channel instead of Teen Nick.
If they don't want to commit to full-on continuations they should just do more movies for streaming like they did with Zim and Rocco. Those did well.
I still am advocating for the Rugrats reboot.
It's a clear story of "don't judge a book by its cover", I've been having more fun with the 2021 show than 2003's All Grown Up.

I once heard that Paramount Pictures and Butch Hartman wants to have 27 yr old😅Tom Holland to play Danny Phantom in the live action movie which it’s actually planning a theatrical release instead of a streaming release. Plus Cartoon Network is having both Total Drama Island and Totally Spies reboots coming out May 12th and June 1st.

I actually was 15 when Henry Danger came out and I will gladly say it along The Loud House (which came out 2 years later) is apart of my childhood, at least my late childhood to early adulthood.
To be fair there is a difference between direct sequel and Reboot
I know most people don’t care for the difference and just have the word Reboot apply to both
While some people do care for weather or not it’s which and the word used as Home Alone 6 for example. That’s not a reboot. It’s apart of the main time line. It’s a sequel

I would say the episode before FairlyOddBaby. Nothing against Poof. The show was better without Poof. However Poof didn’t ruin too much. The destruction happened with Sparky and even more with Chloe.

I think it should've been Wishology but I do like Meet the Oddparents well too even if it is a lowkey type of special.
@@zjzr08 Season 8’s five specials definitely feel like NOT their own season but more a season 7 extension. Or more accurately, an episode listing like iCarly had on streaming where they’re all by production code so all the season’s specials got grouped together at the end, but also in this case separated.
instead of ANOTHER Fairly Oddparents reboot, I want them to hire the same writers for Jimmy Neutron and give us one more season of that God-tier show

Yeah I think the show has it's own charm to it and the slight serialization was nice (people finding out Henry's secret). Only bad part is the beginning episodes with Piper. IDK what direction they gave that little girl. She def mellowed out as she got older. OFC older should mean better with action but also probably better direction and writing.

Sad as hell Ned's only has a podcast like that LOL. I remember there was supposed to be a high school continuation but of course, never happened, and we can't go back and change that. It’s crazy that besides the Rugrats reboot, Nick had brought back fairly odd parents with a live action sitcom only to be removed from paramount + then comes a new reboot of the show however the animation does look good though. Well You know what they say, nostalgia sells💰
Actually, the now titled Wizards Beyond Waverly Place will premiere on both Disney Channel and Disney+ and it speculated to start during the fall season this year.
Also after the Thundermans Return premiered, a Spinoff was greenlit for Nickelodeon and maybe for Paramount+ too.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is also getting more seasons with new stuff added. now that I think about it if I had a nickel every time a long-running successful Disney animated TV show that aired between the late 2000s, & mid-2010s got brand new seasons/episodes during the 2020s, I would have two nickels. its not a lot but its weird that it happened twice

There was a reboot of Lizzie Mcquire. As I understand it two eps were filmed but never aired because the project was canceled. It was a Disney project. I understand it was canceled because Disney thought it was two adult for Disney plus. It was tried to get Netflicks interested but didn't happen.
It is ironic the reason it was canceled considering what is on Disney Plus now.

Here's an idea every once in awhile you can get a full year of original ideas and then the rest can bebut at least every year make some originality to coincide with the reboots and sequels that way it can be a cohesive
i didn't know how to feel about the Scooby Doo one when i heard about it, then they said the guy who did riverdale is producing it.
i after watching alex myers cover the riverdale series ...i dont want the scooby one to be made.
Also i dont think a Courage prequel is necessary, mainly because i think that one episode was good enough.
If we get a scooby doo version of Riverdale or Nancy drew, im all for it lol

it feels like the wizards revival sound the another girl meets world situation where the people who grew up with the show will only watch for the adult cast like i did with girl meets world having grown up with boy meets world even though the show was aimed at a younger audience being on the Disney channel like with the wizards revival not for the older fans

I’m probably most excited for Wizards! But i’m actually also excited for the scooby doo show ONLY BECAUSE it looks like it’s a continuation of an episode that was put on youtube and it was SO GOOD!! They only made the one episode because they needed funding for editing, set building, etc. so if it is that same adaptation, i’m excited! If not, i’ll probably still watch it (let’s be honest…)
