Nebraskan organic farmer here, currently running a Weed Zapper on a Deere 8345RT. No comment on the right to repair segment, cuz I dont want the "big green" to see this and shut me down.
Not actually😁 They don't do anything that extreme, that I know of anyway. And personally, we don't care too much about the right to repair issue, because that really only affects work on the engine and computer which are both too complex(in themselves let alone how they work together)for me to justify working on. When a machine costs anywhere from 250k-750k, it's much easier for a big engine repair to be done by a dealership who will warranty their work if something goes wrong. And we have enough to work on in the winters without needing to rip our tractors completely apart lol. I will say, simply the fact that they can remotely shut down newer tractors at all is slightly troubling. You never know what could happen in the age of cyber warfare😜That being said, GPS and other technologies in the tractor allow us to farm much more effectively and efficiently, especially in organic. Can't have your cake and eat it too I guess🤷🏼♂️ Regardless of "right to repair" not being a huge deal to us, monopolies aren't good, and John Deere definitely is one. @@Firnienarya They have RTK which allows the tractor to steer itself along a set line down to 1cm accuracy. I feel the exact opposite of the last chat message in the video, I love it when you cover political content. Your research and clear, concise explanations are so helpful, not to mention entertaining. Keep it up dude! 👍
The last chatter who mentioned that he missed non-politics is so bullshit. I think that politics needs to be talked about because it affects every single one of us. Whether we like it or not. Not talking about it is just ignorant
It's also just hard to avoid talking about it in such a busy political season. It was easy a couple years ago to mostly avoid talking about American politics and just making the occasional trump getting arrested joke or something similar. Now chatters are going to be constantly asking him questions about the latest presidential or congressional news/scandal until after the election (assuming another Jan 6 doesn't happen 🙃).
There is no point though, america has a two-party dictatorship since no other party could ever win. The only reason there are even two parties is to make people think they are making a meaningful democratic decision, but now they're finally realizing that neither side has their best interests at heart.

It’s so weird, because the only thing I actually like about the Republican Party is that I think a free market perspective is somewhat important, and I hated the social conservative shit, and now that’s all there is left. It pisses me off.
Lol that John Deere Monopoly thing reminds me of the theory that Disney made a movie called Frozen to hide information about Walt Disney being cryogenically frozen
Trickle down works in theory since companies love expanding, and expansion creates new jobs. But in practice the expansion is often at the expense of other companies going out of business, so no wealth is actually added to our economy. In the case of streamers, money generated via advertising is absolutely at the expense of traditional forms of media who see declining viewership and lower advertising money as a result. You may be happier that UA-camrs are getting that trickle-down money instead of cable television networks, but as far as the economy is concerned nothing has changed.

There's already an example of this in politics. I remember hearing in Civics class that one of our presidents made a lot of promises, said a bunch of stuff to corporate donors, then once he got in immediately flipped the script on them
So real talk. You listed a quote from Rosevelt, but didn’t say which one. Was it the one that led us through WWII despite having polio, or the one that like Trump got shot while giving a speech, but survived with only minor wounds?
Big A should get in touch with Louis Rossmann, he's been fighting for the right to repair for years and has many more examples of companies doing anti-consumer stuff like John Deere

9:25 “you were investigated by G-O-D” I loove the implication that he was being investigated by god himself 😂
God is always investigating everyone, average tri-omni being behavior.
6:20 - "Unless the ticket changes, Biden is probably gonna lose"
Well this didn't age well...
Technically speaking since he dropped out, Biden did lose. Just not the Democrat party.
I feel the exact opposite of the last chat message in the video, I love it when you cover political content. Your research and clear, concise explanations are so helpful, not to mention entertaining. Keep it up dude! 👍
There is no way this guy has changed this much, he's just playing the game.
I like him.
Also the fact that politics and business move incredibly closely. Like wdym no politics? Its relevant as fuck to Atrioc's niche.
ikr politics is technology, politics is business, politics is people's lives
There is no point though, america has a two-party dictatorship since no other party could ever win. The only reason there are even two parties is to make people think they are making a meaningful democratic decision, but now they're finally realizing that neither side has their best interests at heart.
Hated that comment at the end lol Big A has taught me so much about the economy and politics and how it is all tied to one another (including marketing). Your vids are so informational while also being causal and funny. Keep it up👍🏽
The monopoly thing reminds me that Disney was sick of the conspiracy that Walt Disney is frozen so they made "Disney's Frozen" and now you get Anna and Elsa when you google about it
seeing this after the Tim "ballz to the walz" walz reveal is bonkers
So JD Vance is a 1910s republican?....
Yes but spineless
@@alpha_9997 I don’t know about you but their failure to invoke cloture on the Dyer filibuster seemed pretty spineless to me.
He’s like if Ian Miles Cheong was a politician 😂
very little correlation here idgi
huh. Is Ian Miles Cheong even that protectionist?
The correlation is that he's a grifter saying shit just to get power/attention.
For the people not getting it.
The guy doesn’t look real
Looks like when you make a mii character and push all the facial features as close as you can together but keep it the large size
Ya they photoshopped the picture??
@@polyfoxgames9006 whts photoshop
lol the photo he showed is photoshopped
what if it was a long con to keep trump in check ( i’m coping but please JD)
I think he fell in line with the hope of "inheriting the Trump movement" after this term.
Personally, I don’t think JD Vance or his ilk actually care about big business abusing monopoly and consumer laws, they’re just mad that big businesses are now all “woke” and have DEI standards. They view it as another culture war area
It’s so weird, because the only thing I actually like about the Republican Party is that I think a free market perspective is somewhat important, and I hated the social conservative shit, and now that’s all there is left. It pisses me off.
big a more like big UA-camr whose opinion I respect and whose videos I greatly enjoy and find a useful resource and an entertaining media personality
14:35 Atrioc, you should a 100% keep talking about your points of view on political matters. I love that.
Lol that John Deere Monopoly thing reminds me of the theory that Disney made a movie called Frozen to hide information about Walt Disney being cryogenically frozen
Tbh, trickle down economics is probably actually best displayed with twitch and youtube. It's also pretty much on purpose yet entirely accidental.
@@durg8909so what you're saying is that it works locally, but we need to think glocally?
@@jakefromstatefarm6969Exactly, if glickle-down is an argument for changing our glocal economy it better see glocal results.
is he not the equivalent of homelander coming to sage and making her his right hand in the boys
i actually read his book back in high school back before all of this shit, and from the little i remember, it actually does a lot to explain the sort of problems hitting these rust belt towns...man if he does anything to help working class people itd be a win we havent seen since like...idfk...too long...thats just fucking sad
John Deere taking a page straight from the Apple playbook
Kamala hated Biden too…
Biden hated Obama too…
I'm just imagining Vance making excuses to his wife why he can't get it up and he goes with daylight savings time
John Deere: the McDonalds Ice Cream machine of the Industrials sector 😆
I’ve never seen Atrioc cope this hard before.
Ehh he could seethe a bit more tbh. Apparently there's a faction of Trump base that really don't like his vp pick.
Cope what? Don’t like to hear you’re nothing but a tool. Sowy your favorite politician doesn’t give a shit about you
has this guy always streamed about politics or something
@@infantryL0RDhe talks about stuff on the economy side of things (mostly marketing), but politics have a large impact on that
My takeaway was 'this guy sucks but it couldve been worse'. Idk how much cope that is
There's already an example of this in politics. I remember hearing in Civics class that one of our presidents made a lot of promises, said a bunch of stuff to corporate donors, then once he got in immediately flipped the script on them
Reminds me of that guy who wants to be David Beckham
JD Vance has a weird eye to face ratio
So real talk. You listed a quote from Rosevelt, but didn’t say which one. Was it the one that led us through WWII despite having polio, or the one that like Trump got shot while giving a speech, but survived with only minor wounds?
The “If books could kill” podcast did an episode on hillbilly elegy that was pretty entertaining
Big A should get in touch with Louis Rossmann, he's been fighting for the right to repair for years and has many more examples of companies doing anti-consumer stuff like John Deere
Jason derulo vance hates star wars as well
Omg I HATED reading Hillbilly Elegy in high school, this timeline suckssss
Every year we have serious topics that can be brought up on a debate to see where and what each candidate would take it.
But ignore that and lets hear who can golf better.
Wait trinkle down doesn't work????? What's all this urine on my face for then, Lina Khan, save me
cant believe it. i have been pissing down my leg every day for years and now im being told it was all for nothing.
i think Big A is honestly doing a great service by making these videos. my understanding of situations has improved so much from watching these videos. Honestly thank you Big A. PS GLIZZINATOR TIME. GAWK GAWK GAWK
9:40
That's what they do on those hearings almost all the time.
And it wasn't a CEO ofc. Just the person who was designated to be administratively responsible, extremely typical.
I was at his speech today, he came off as super genuine and down to earth. Focused on policy, rather than slandering the other side. Probably the most likeable guy out of all the presidential and vice presidential candidates.
Got a JD Vance ad in the middle of the video 💀💀💀
It's crazy that you have become my news source for politics (this is a good thing, thank you for making it digestible)
Atrioc with blue hair buzz cut
It could be me being conspiratorial but it could also be Trump placating the dissatisfied republicans untill or during his election.
By choosing him they have a reason to not act rashly and Vance was the most available to Trump at the moment.
Big A, any update on the cost of new vehicles? We’re still in the same boat of people buying 2+ year old used vehicles that cost more that mortgages years ago.
Atrioc for president
The Problem is that the Demokratik Party doesnt talk enough about financial issues. If they switched their focus to why voting them will the financial life of the majority of people better, i think they would get more voters. Sorry Im not a native Speaker
Are you accusing them of not being demagogic enough? Yea trump is popular because hes yelling sweet nothings, we dont need another candidate to do that.
You know what’s fucked, I could see this generation grow up with an economy against the young and retire with an economy against the old so we get nothing.
Venture capitalist is a big distinction from hedge fund guy
14:49 I appreciate this
39 years old going on 61
Well i do for one enjoy these marketing mondays and you can really tell how big A cares about this stuff with makes it more interesting.
I liked this a lot, not for and not against just sharing information.
proud to have my state represented this way, wish it wasn't though.
yes i agree
This should be a main channel upload
I'd honestly rather the VP be president based on age alone
I read Hillybilly elegy in Highschool a few years ago
Honestly if my options for the election where this guy, trump, or biden, and i knew whichever i voted for was going to win, i would vote for him. At least he has shown in the past he has the ability to comprehend more progressive ideas.
This feels like Atrioc read one book, and article…
Brandon: HIS OLD POSITIONS DO NOT MATTER. HE HAS COMPLETELY KISSED THE RING.
Under 30 views i have no family
Atricock, more like atroc
Possibly interesting indeed
Big A back to back clippies
To throw it out there, I really like the politics in these MMs
As a Missourian it's super funny to see anyone say anything positive about Josh Hawley.
Dude as someone who comes from small farms in texas THANK YOU ON THE JOHN DEER. COMPANY WANTS $. NOTHING MORE. they got to be the big man so they are looking at their customers with 1990 and older stuff still working and saying we need to make money off people cant have them fixing their problems we need to fix it for them. 10/10 video and take on all of this hope ur right and we got a little finger that cant betray the little men
Atrioc is a genuinely good person he cares about the truth and spends his times trying to tell us what’s happening in the world. Makes it very interesting and is honestly a good role model.
So, BigA, when are you running for office? Need a glizzler in the White House.
JD vance boutta pull a the boys on trump
He won't be a "rubber stamp" on anything since nothing a Trump administration would do would go through him. Vice Presidents don't have any power.
He told JD his grand plan to flip republic into galactic empire
Literally 1984 for JD Vance being converted by GOP's "Room 101" from a Never Trumper (to the point of Hitler comparison) to a total Trump simp
I think there is a chance he does both.
You sound an awful lot like Louis Rossman talking about all this right to repair stuff. I do agree with you though. I went to school for engineering, and I could swear I had some professors advice on how to get more sales by making things hard to repair. I for sure had professors push towards subscription models when making and marketing products though. Both of which I just find scummy and stay away from as a consumer.
I'm still a little upset Vivek didn't get the VP nod, he sure seemed to me like he'd be the face of the MAGA movement come 2028 and would do a great job taking the reigns for his 8 years. It's very possible that JD is just sucking up to Trump in order get make a name for himself, but I don't think he would be so willing to put his name in the ringer just to turn his back again. We'll just have to wait and see what happens in the first VP debate, he's absolutely gonna rip to shreds whoever Kamala picks as her VP
