- Exactly 20 months ago, I achieved sub 3:30 on Any%, with the help and encourage from the entire community. After 315 hours' gameplay on this category alone per LiveSplit, with some "unusual" rng, the sub 3:20 happened today!
There were a lot ups and downs --
First world, aka Day, took 29:35 which was PB and community best, including 2 golds on 1-4 and 1-9.
The trend continued until 3-5, which was absolutely a disaster, lost about 30s to gold. 3-10 was funny because I only got 3 Torchwoods in the entire level, however the final time 5:12 was good.
Fog was mediocre. The first half was good, but 4-6, 4-7 and 4-9 were very bad, including two bad final wave dooms on 4-7 and 4-9. Because of money issue, I skipped the Rake on 4-9 and 5-2, and was just barely able to afford both Roof Cleaner and Gloom. Roof Cleaner helped a lot towards the insane 5-5 so it's probably the right choice.
Lastly and the most mysteriously, Roof was a roller coaster -- 5-2 and 5-3 were super bad, both luck and execution perspective. Too many Pole Vaulters on 5-2, including 3 Bungee + Vaulter waves which there's no fast way to deal with, the final wave of 5-3 cost 50s. Was thinking run was dead at that moment. On the contrary, 5-5 was insane on both sides. 5-7 to 5-9 were normal. Three cycle on 5-10.
Most timesave came from conveyor levels, comparing to PB and Average time. - Ігри
