Dry needling isnt in the scope of practice for an AT in NY. I have studied it, and see value in the modality, but it is a little outside my wheelhouse still.
This is my favorite manual therapy channel. Could you speak more to the fibroblastic stimulation? I understand that your stimulating fibroblasts to produce and lay down more collagen fibers on the affected tendon and it's attachment. Is the goal to lay down collagen with a better fiber direction that provides the resilience to strain without contributing to more restriction, which I imagine the adhered and messy collagen reinforcement of a tendon strain might cause.
