lol your online identiry potraying you as scottish wont make mea clansmen accept you as a sister off our land. There is some steps to take i think youll reach them but you have every right to try.

Listening to this on the 723rd anniversary of the signing of The Declaration of Arbroath 🏴 As long as but a hundred of us remain alive, never will we on any conditions be brought under English rule. It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours, that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself".
As one who has lived these 84 years of my life in USA, and has spent many hours of researching the family history, my conclusion is that there is a Scots ancestral heritage. If nothing else, I can feel it just by hearing the pipes and drums.....AYE!!
might I add that the wearing of my kilt during appropriate events contributes even more to the conclusion as to the sense of my heritage! AYE says I....Ian Macdhai, (my Scots rendition surname) AYE!! Says Ian Macdhai
With all due respect the pipes and drums were very effective in war. When you heard them coming in the distance and getting louder, it put the fear of God in you! That was a military technique to distract your attention to what was about to happen! God bless you all! JPM
back when i did marching band, i performed at this one parade that had another band that was completely in scottish garb with bagpipers at the front. i wish i took pictures or got to meet them, they were legendary. phenomenal people, no clue where they came from tho
Here because my genealogy spit test DNA results say I’m 15% Scottish! 😂🤓👍 I’m also 48% Northern English it says. A place called Yorkshire. Oh and 3% Welsh. Hell I thought I was German at best, so much for that theory. 😅 actually I adore this music!
My Irish ancestors on my mother’s side, fleeing the Great Famine, found a new home in Scotland. Later, they immigrated to Canada’s New Scotland (i.e., Nova Scotia) where they became coal miners. To the great nation of Scotland, I heartily and humbly say ceud mìle taing.

The irony is tho, If you are here to bash the Jocks about the English with your comment. Makes no sense you clearly clicked on a video which is clearly Scottish and you put a comment like you did. You was looking for a reaction and to be antagonist.

it always makes me think of parades. no parade is complete without the pipes and drums of Scotland. they usually lead the parade too. great.

Met her in the Southern Highlands, North Carolina, USA. Both Scots. From the first words she spoke it was on. How did she know?
Ahhhhh! Tis fine indeed to hear the pipes and drums once again!
Best version by Andy M. of Blackbird I've ever heard....even though it is an Irish ballad. RIP Andy & Johnny.

no subjugation to england but to the EU, haha.
imagine being so mad that your country is leaving EU-slavement that you decide to go be slaves of your own accord
You forget the EU is a new concept.
The Scots struggle with the English goes further back than the EU 🤣
