BUDDHISM IS AN OFFSHOOT OF JAINISM. Gautam Siddhartha (Buddha) followed the practices of Digambar Jain monks during his 6 years of searching (see MAJJHIMA NIKAYA). He studied under Uddaka Ramaputta who was a teacher of Jainism mentioned also in the Jain scriptures as well. Buddha’s “Middle Way” was basically a protest against Jain monastic practices. Buddha’s uncle Vappa was a Jain according to Buddhist scriptures. Buddha got a lot of his terminology directly from Jainism, such as Nirvana, Samyak, Arhat, Jina, 5 vows, etc. Buddha was born and raised in an area of India where Jainism was strong (foothills of the Himalayas). Also in the MAJJHIMA NIKAYA, Buddha says that he used to believe the same things that the Jain monks believed. Buddhist cosmology copied some major aspects from Jainism including Mt. Meru and ring continents. The list goes on.

Buddha wasn't against anyone, it just means you don't understand buddha nature. Buddha even welcomed Mara and the entire darkness and evil to a cup of tea.

@@buddaverse Buddha followed Jainism as per the Pali texts.... Jainism was an important part of Gautam Siddhartha’s spiritual journey
      • After Gautam Siddhartha began his spiritual quest, for a period of time he lived the life of a Digambar Jain monk. Here he describes his practices:
“Sāriputta, I recall having practiced a spiritual path consisting of four factors. I used to be a fervent mortifier, the ultimate fervent mortifier. I used to live rough, the ultimate rough-liver. I used to live in disgust at sin, the ultimate one living in disgust at sin. I used to be secluded, in ultimate seclusion. And this is what my fervent mortification was like. I WENT NAKED, IGNORING CONVENTIONS. I LICKED MY HANDS [to eat food placed therein by others], and didn’t come or stop when asked. I DIDN’T CONSENT TO FOOD BROUGHT TO ME, OR FOOD PREPARED SPECIALLY FOR ME, OR AN INVITATION FOR A MEAL…. I ACCEPTED NO FISH OR MEAT OR LIQUOR OR WINE, AND DRANK NO BEER. I WENT TO JUST ONE HOUSE FOR ALMS, taking just one mouthful, or two houses and two mouthfuls…. I lived committed to the practice of eating food at set intervals. I ATE HERBS, MILLET, WILD RICE, POOR RICE, WATER LETTUCE, RICE BRAN, SCUM FROM BOILING RICE, SESAME FLOUR, GRASS, OR COW DUNG. I SURVIVED ON FOREST ROOTS AND FRUITS, OR EATING FALLEN FRUIT…. I TORE OUT HAIR AND BEARD, COMMITTED TO THIS PRACTICE. I CONSTANTLY STOOD, REFUSING SEATS. I SQUATTED, COMMITTED TO THE ENDEAVOR OF SQUATTING*…. And this is what my living in disgust of sin was like. I’D STEP FORWARD OR BACK EVER SO MINDFULLY. I WAS FULL OF PITY EVEN REGARDING A DROP OF WATER, THINKING: ‘MAY I NOT ACCIDENTALLY INJURE ANY LITTLE CREATURES THAT HAPPEN TO BE IN THE WRONG PLACE.’ Such was my living in disgust of sin….” - Majjhima Nikaya 12.44-64 (suttacentral.net/mn12/en/sujato?lang=en&layout=plain&reference=none¬es=asterisk&highlight=false&script=latin ) (emphasis added)
      • Some of the details (“cow dung”, etc.) seem exaggerated, but the similarities to Jain monasticism are abundantly clear
      • Though he was a strict vegetarian during this early phase of his journey (see passage above), later as Buddha the teacher he sometimes ate meat

The Buddha knew the truth about karma, which would conflict with those who do not.
"Intention, I tell you, is kamma. Intending, one does kamma by way of body, speech, & intellect."
"And what is the cause by which kamma comes into play? Contact is the cause by which kamma comes into play.
"And what is the diversity in kamma? There is kamma to be experienced in hell, kamma to be experienced in the realm of common animals, kamma to be experienced in the realm of the hungry shades, kamma to be experienced in the human world, kamma to be experienced in the world of the devas. This is called the diversity in kamma.
what is the cessation of kamma? From the cessation of contact is the cessation of kamma; and just this noble eightfold path is the path of practice leading to the cessation of kamma.

So people under the guise of nationalism and religionism spread venom for vegans.

    • @sirchad9443
      @sirchad9443 7 днів тому

@buddaverse Brahmins is derived from Brahmans or teachers of the Brahmans. The Caste System or Varna wasn't created until the Vaisnavas invented it and started rewriting history. Brahmans is post Vedic era based on the Upanishads. Vaishnavism originally began as a Brahmanic cult and is the newest of the big ones. To grow the cult they invented the concept of the avatar to place their Brahman Vishnu into the Vedic stories to give themselves credibility. They also corrupted Varna which was merely occupation into something you are born into. This was done to keep people in their place wishing for more. Vaishnavism then promised them more without giving them anything. Sounds a lot like communism methods doesn't it, except instead of wealth it is religious. Oh wait, the religious leaders keep wealth and power while the people suffer. Vaishnavism also copied the Jains by saying vegetarian is the way. This is because the real wealth was held by the warriors who owned land and protected the people. They owned cattle, so if people don't eat meat they don't make money. Poor people who are dumb and hungry will believe anything.
Btw Buddha was never a vegetarian. This was made up by Jains who converted to Buddhism.

Hindus only know to do one thing keep on saying Sanatan sanatan.
The reality is there was no religion b4 Jainism Shraman dharam. This is the first religion on this planet.
From Jainism all other religions have came out.
The reality is also that even bhagwan Ram laxman Seeta mata Krishna all followed Jainism.
Even Guatam Bhuddha was a Jain monk then he had separated from bhagwan Mahaveer as he was finding Jainism very difficult.
