@buddaverse Brahmins is derived from Brahmans or teachers of the Brahmans. The Caste System or Varna wasn't created until the Vaisnavas invented it and started rewriting history. Brahmans is post Vedic era based on the Upanishads. Vaishnavism originally began as a Brahmanic cult and is the newest of the big ones. To grow the cult they invented the concept of the avatar to place their Brahman Vishnu into the Vedic stories to give themselves credibility. They also corrupted Varna which was merely occupation into something you are born into. This was done to keep people in their place wishing for more. Vaishnavism then promised them more without giving them anything. Sounds a lot like communism methods doesn't it, except instead of wealth it is religious. Oh wait, the religious leaders keep wealth and power while the people suffer. Vaishnavism also copied the Jains by saying vegetarian is the way. This is because the real wealth was held by the warriors who owned land and protected the people. They owned cattle, so if people don't eat meat they don't make money. Poor people who are dumb and hungry will believe anything. Btw Buddha was never a vegetarian. This was made up by Jains who converted to Buddhism.
But ultimately the texts of vedas, sanatan Dharmma, and Hindu Philosophy out smarted both the Jainism and Buddhism alike and that s the reason Jainism and Buddhism has very few followers in India and other countries.

All these philosophies are offshoots of sanatana dharma, some are pro or against....but part of Indian way of life with out affecting the core beliefs of common people, but some rulers or power seekers of those time like jameendhars or office bearers for privileges. Thats why in due course they either vanished or didnot grow.

The rigour of Jainism in modern day food habits vs Buddhism's compassion to animals. They have mostly vanished even in countries rigrously practicing it like south-east asians countries including Sri Lanka. Vegetarianism is being laughed at let alone following Jain food practices.
BUDDHISM IS AN OFFSHOOT OF JAINISM. Gautam Siddhartha (Buddha) followed the practices of Digambar Jain monks during his 6 years of searching (see MAJJHIMA NIKAYA). He studied under Uddaka Ramaputta who was a teacher of Jainism mentioned also in the Jain scriptures as well. Buddha’s “Middle Way” was basically a protest against Jain monastic practices. Buddha’s uncle Vappa was a Jain according to Buddhist scriptures. Buddha got a lot of his terminology directly from Jainism, such as Nirvana, Samyak, Arhat, Jina, 5 vows, etc. Buddha was born and raised in an area of India where Jainism was strong (foothills of the Himalayas). Also in the MAJJHIMA NIKAYA, Buddha says that he used to believe the same things that the Jain monks believed. Buddhist cosmology copied some major aspects from Jainism including Mt. Meru and ring continents. The list goes on.

Why is vegetarian/veganism being laughed at? I dont honestly know
@@JackFrost008I am not sure about vegetarian. But veganism is often mislead as propoganda. Also it might seem for many that veganism is advocating to erase significance of dairy products such as ghee and cow milk as they are quite closely related to many traditions and cultures atleast in North India. So people under the guise of nationalism and religionism spread venom for vegans.
Also people tend to justify their guilt of harming animals through strawman arguments condemning these through false or ridiculous claims.

I haven't watched the video yet, but Buddha just tells the truth, and truth naturally conflicts with falsehood. for example the truth that the world is subject to karma will conflict with the falsehood that the world is subject to God.
Such is nothing more than a word problem, since one can understand God to be the web of causes and conditions described by the Buddha, as well as the luminosity of the ground-counsciouness.

Except that , jains don't believe in God either
Do you know its more productive to make people forget about who and what God is instead of making them trying to fix their mind and decribe God?

I have not seen any archaeological evidence of the Jains at the time of Buddha. What comes is of the 4th or 5th century perhaps. There was no Caste in the Vedas. Stop promoting this lie.
If was no caste system, then how brahmins originated?
