📜 Video Description 📜
Folding was once a highly valued skill in poker. There are lots of cash game spots which are very underbluffed by our opponents in which even strong players can fail to find the right aggression. In these spots it's imperative that we fold when GTO thinks our hand is close to a break-even call! In this session I execute a few highly instructive exploitative folds like this. - Ігри
Thanks again Pete. Your recent videos detailing how friendly the "fold" and "check" buttons can be have gotten me thinking much more deeply about how to play certain spots. I stumbled upon Carrot Corner about six months ago. After almost 3 years of absorbing all the poker content possible, I truly believe there is no better free coaching content available on UA-cam. Keep up the great work!
"too far up my range" is the number 1 easty explanation for a bad call lmao
loving your content, educational & humorous
solid content, as always, Pete.
it is criminal that this channel does not have more views & subs.
on the other hand, it's great for the game.
let the solver fans keep pretending they are playing against opponents who make no mistakes.
Excellent video as always Pete
More art of folding episodes please.
Thanks for the content, Pete.
A funnel of punishment! I love it! 🤩
Your videos are amazingly insightful plus very funny. Thenk you for your knowledge sharing.
hahahah dude. love the fold. makes a lot of sense. thanks for explaining it so well.
Any plans on releasing paper back version of your 3 books ? (The Grinders manual, 100 Hands, Poker Therapy) I have the kindle version and love the content in all the 3. but its strainful to the eyes to keep reading on the phone. I want to purchase the hard copy as well.
Love the content
“Fold when you want to fold”
But Pete, I relate to Mark and don’t want to fold
Hi. Another great video! Such a sick content.
Noticed something and wanted to ask. Do you have some preflop data on 3bet sizes? Standard 3bet from SB is 4x, but is 5x gaining more ev? Seems super crazy to me, like opening pot size instead of 2.5bb on D. Is this size used in special occasions only? (Vs someone who calls 2 much?)
By far my biggest leak ... calling with hands like that AJs ( perhaps not the JJ) - calling against big bet aggression from weak players - the effect of that is win win win win win win small and medium pots - lost big one back to even... I can't fold here - too far up in range...😪
how to figure out the relation between value and bluffs in a spot ?
How about jamming pre JJ 100bb deep with 28bb already in the pot Pete, holding one of the best hands we show up in this spot and denying some equity? Hard to navigate post anyway with such low spr and easy to make mistakes having invested the not negligible 13bb.
JJ is not doing so well since UTG calls QQ, AQs, AJs, AKo and sometimes KK. Then there is the tight uncapped range of SB that is filled with QQ+, AQo+, AJs+. Since BTN is pretty much capped at JJ and AQo pre, SB and UTG can call the jam with a lot of their range. You're never expecting a fold here.
Hi Pete! Do you ever use accents from the States? Do et!
good stuff
i do not like these apples
thanks for another great video pete
Sage advice
genius
wow i see n ow why that fold on the last hand was easy, its because unless opponent is bluffing he cant really have worse, unless its a maniac bettinh with A T , thanks. also i would have called and im a losing player but im good at some small aspects of the game
stan_09319 isn't a fish!
