We thought it was about time Rich got from behind the camera, so in his first ever Winning Ways diary piece he heads to Lake One at Birch House fishery to show how he has been putting together some big silver fish weights in the recent open matches. - Спорт

Great vid rich. I had success Sunday by leaving my shallow rig (8”) and pinging maggots over the top and the fish just ripped the elastic out. Had some lovely roach, ide, chub and skimmers

Great video Rich, great to see you on the bank fishing rather than filming for a change. Challenge idea: Andy v Jamie, when one of them catches a fish, they have to guess the weight exactly, then weigh the fish straight away, if they guess it correctly the other person has a forfeit! 😄

Great video rich, nice to see you getting some fishing done. Believe me when I say this is not a dig....but I related more to you than the lads, you’re closer to a ‘normal’ angler. That sounds terrible but those two are immense! Subscribing to all in too 👍🏻

It was filmed last week, was tough going with it being a bit cooler. A lot more deck fishing but still nice day 33lb of silvers and a couple of carp for second.

Always end up changing it during the day, but when you’re the only one doing it you don’t need to raft them I’ve found on there. If everyone starts doing it I expect that to change as you’re fighting other anglers.

I would love to know what Personal audio capture kit you guys wear? I am looking to record some of my sessions and audio is always in issue
We use Senheisser G4 but take a look at the Rode Wireless Go which are bang on for the price 👍🏻

Found myself using the deck rig a lot more this weekend, just gone a bit moody with change in weather. Even worth starting off cad potting just to keep it all a bit tighter

Hi Rich, you don't need an hour... I would say maybe a day! Only joking👍Congratulations on the success of winning ways. Between you three, you convinced me to buy a pole and give commercial fisheries a bash. I fished in matches as a boy with my father looking on and collected some pretty good plasticware. Great videos, great content, and with those side kicks Andrew and James by your side, the pond is yours for the taking. BUOOOSSSSHHHHH

What floats are you using Rich?
Same as Andy uses. Made by a chap called Nathan Lumb (he’s contactable on Facebook) and they are carbon slims - 1.2mm solid tips 👍🏻
