Ginger is a nice uphill mare and deserves to be placed premium. My favorite warmbloods are Holst, and Olds! Congrats! Are you going to register her with any other books? I bet she would have done better if you had the time to get off property to school, but I don't know how safe that is. Ginger looks more like a Holsteiner to me.

Congratulations! This is so cool. This is how it should be done in purebred dogs as well. Pedigree is all well and good but type and performance are even more important in determining if an animal is a good example of a breed and thus worthy of breeding.
Can you explain what 'water damage' means? And why are glued on shoes point deductible, surely it shouldn't matter what shoes a broodmare wears (if she wears any)?
water damage is when the hooves get a bit too soft. can lead to bruised feet from the pressure not being spread out correctly across the foot. not sure on the shoes side of it tho lol

If I decided to keep him a stallion then he would have to be reevaluated.

16.2h. I've never had a horse so big & tall. Lovely horses. Biggest horse I ever owned has been 14.3h . I like that breeds get evaluated this way.

I think it’s because they preferably want horses with good enough hooves where they don’t need shoes. I apologize, just my guess.
