Many politicians and people from north India think and believe that Hindi is the only national language and have no understanding of the diversity of Bharat. They expect people in the south and other parts of India to know Hindi but not the other way around. South Indian languages have been in use for thousands of years, much older than Hindi itself. The language is the main link in the preservation of the unique culture, literature, knowledge systems, and traditions of a region and society. Hence, the preservation of all important languages of India should be the key to retaining the diversity and the strength of cultures which is the uniqueness of Bharat " A civilizational nation". In ancient Bharat, the link language was Sanskrit which unfortunately was confined only to the gurukul educated class and hence became a weakness.
Very good interview. Quite objective and matter of fact. Would like to watch her report after her tour . Kerala has millenums of history of tolerance co existence and peaceful living. This has been vitiated to some extent in the recent past couple of decades by religious bigots belonging to all religions. But still an average Malayali stands for social equity,justice and peaceful co existence across religious spectrums.This is a drastic contrast with the scenario in most north Indian states.

Otherwise people will only show you the positive aspects and hide negatives. Good to see that, Sonal n Amitesh, your reporter visit Kerala to know perception on election. I have south friends also they most of time they criticise that north people not value our culture. Even many have hate towards north people also, when started moving to south for job, I realised this. Especially politician mobilise people based on imposition of Hindi. I think the imposition of Hindi is mainly driven by north politician, not all north civilian.
We malayalis are hesitant to do menial works in our home state, so we go out to Gulf countries to earn, for example rupees 1000 per day for all menial hardworks and then back home we pay 1000 rupees per day to Biharis and Bengalis for doing menial works. That is the level of our false pride. But we are hardworking and strive our best to adopt good practices we come across other countries back in home.
It is not that simple. Its a sad story in most developing countries. The moment education levels go up a person gets the notion that menial jobs especialy works related to farming and the likes is infra dig . That is partly cultural and also the failure to inculcate life values by our educational system.

In Kerala, since independence predominantly business arena was dominated by Christians and Muslims. They were following the business ethics very religiously. Because of that, businessmen from outside Kerala mainly Gujrati Marwaris and Konkanis were facing difficulty in competing with Kerala Christian and Muslim businessmen and make inroad in Kerala. So they started importing RSS ideology to Kerala along with their business. So initially RSS shakhas were located around these North Indian settlement. Gradually the RSS tool of spreading hatred and brainwashing through their shakhas started expanding. But communists resisted their idology tooth and nail leading to cinflicts. That's why even though Kerala has the most number of RSS shakhas but a majority of public don't support their religious fanaticism. And when RSS started threatening posture against Muslims challenge them unnecessarily they formed Islamic Sevak Sangh (ISS) to counter RSS. Later on, geopolitical issues created by US in the Gulf and Afghanistan a very small section of Muslim youth started getting radicalised. So RSS like anti-national organisation is the root cause of Muslim youths getting attracted to religious fanaticism. It's natural, when someone threaten you and challenge your existance, they are bound to react. So if RSS is removed from Kerala the entire State will be free of other opponents like SDPI, PDP, etc.
We need this type of educated persons to lead the country not the one who divide the country.. and worst than British! once they are in power looting peoples money

At that time ,I used to take it lightly however as I grew older & started taking interest in History & Politics of India ,I understood value of such programs .....They hold even more significance in present times when India is going through a transition. and internal enemies are active to sabotage the process.

When Babri Masjid demolished there was communal unrest in Kerala. One of my friends from scheduled caste attended a Sakah and he quit it later because the Shakha Paramukh taught them communally hatred ideas. He told me that the RSS Pramukh told them "when you work in Muslim houses, try to utilize every opportunities to weaken them, you expose your thighs to lure Muslim girls". RSS is a communal organization.

I have south friends also they most of time they criticise that north people not value our culture. Even many have hate towards north people also, when started moving to south for job, I realised this. Especially politician mobilise people based on imposition of Hindi.
I think the imposition of Hindi is mainly driven by north politician, not all north civilian.
Actually Kerala is welcoming compared to Karnataka and TN. But the younger gen of Kerala hardly speaks Hindi.

We malayalis are hesitant to do menial works in our home state, so we go out to Gulf countries to earn, for example rupees 1000 per day for all menial hardworks and then back home we pay 1000 rupees per day to Biharis and Bengalis for doing menial works. That is the level of our false pride. But we are hardworking and strive our best to adopt good practices we come across other countries back in home.
It is not that simple. Its a sad story in most developing countries. The moment education levels go up a person gets the notion that menial jobs especialy works related to farming and the likes is infra dig . That is partly cultural and also the failure to inculcate life values by our educational system.

In Kerala, since independence predominantly business arena was dominated by Christians and Muslims. They were following the business ethics very religiously. Because of that, businessmen from outside Kerala mainly Gujrati Marwaris and Konkanis were facing difficulty in competing with Kerala Christian and Muslim businessmen and make inroad in Kerala.
So they started importing RSS ideology to Kerala along with their business. So initially RSS shakhas were located around these North Indian settlement. Gradually the RSS tool of spreading hatred and brainwashing through their shakhas started expanding.
But communists resisted their idology tooth and nail leading to cinflicts. That's why even though Kerala has the most number of RSS shakhas but a majority of public don't support their religious fanaticism. And when RSS started threatening posture against Muslims challenge them unnecessarily they formed Islamic Sevak Sangh (ISS) to counter RSS. Later on, geopolitical issues created by US in the Gulf and Afghanistan a very small section of Muslim youth started getting radicalised. So RSS like anti-national organisation is the root cause of Muslim youths getting attracted to religious fanaticism. It's natural, when someone threaten you and challenge your existance, they are bound to react.
So if RSS is removed from Kerala the entire State will be free of other opponents like SDPI, PDP, etc.
We need this type of educated persons to lead the country not the one who divide the country.. and worst than British! once they are in power looting peoples money

When Babri Masjid demolished there was communal unrest in Kerala. One of my friends from scheduled caste attended a Sakah and he quit it later because the Shakha Paramukh taught them communally hatred ideas. He told me that the RSS Pramukh told them "when you work in Muslim houses, try to utilize every opportunities to weaken them, you expose your thighs to lure Muslim girls". RSS is a communal organization.
