LMS 46115 Scots Guardsman And The Near Miss - The Pendle Dalesman - 05/09/23.

On the 5th of September 2023, LMS 46115 Scots Guardsman was in charge of the Pendle Dalesman rail tour from Lancaster to Carlisle and return. The first spot we visited was Dandry Mire viaduct. Have tried here before but this was my first successful attempt, Scots Guardsman sounds good as it passes through Garsdale, not as fast as it could have gone but I assume that's down to the hot weather and not wanting to start a fire anywhere.
The last shot is at Low Baron Wood, just outside of Armathwaite, where mere seconds after Guardsman passes by, a passenger service speeds through, close call! Have never been to this spot before so it took a bit to find...would have been angry if all that effort resulted in a Northern service ruining all that hard work!
