No manufacturer has control over ALL the variables, so there will always be a % of the products that will fail, quality is reflected in the % of failed products and warranty support. In statistics all unknown probability is assigned a 50% probability. Given that there are people that will always give a 100% approval in reviews and there are those who will do the opposite, I subtract the negative reviews from the positive ones to get a better view, the detail is in those that rate between max and min and give details on where the products fail, then I go from there. Beware though, there are companies that will inflate the positive reviews by having their people post on their own products.
If you buy Wasabi, for sure order from Amazon. I ordered directly from Blue Nook....still waiting almost 2 weeks. If I ordered from Amazon, like my recent order - 4 days!
Small Canon A2500 camera. OEM battery 680mAh and 2.5Wh - Wasabi 's battery for this camera shows 900mAh and 3.2Wh. The OEM battery will record video steady for 15-20 minutes. The Wasabi, fully charged, works OK for only photos. As soon as you press record, it flattens out & starts flashing the "charge battery" message. THEN it shows fully charged green after it's on the charger only 5-15 minutes. Their battery mAh ratings are a lie. I''ll never buy a Wasabi again.
I bought a pair of wasabi with dual charger last week for my Sony a6000 and 20 mins into shooting 1080p video, the camera was overheated, which never happened with Sony's original baterries. I was shooting my sons gym session which was in air conditioned room at 26C. I am not sure whether it was due to wasabi battery but who knows.
@@tazui1982 None of the Sony A camera will record reliably for more than about 15 minutes. Doesn't matter what battery you're using, they overheat like crazy.
This video is like treasure from the ancient time. I mean it's Very nice presentation easy to understand and no sponsor. I'm glad i found this video

2 battery -+ dual charger Wasabi = 45 usd. Equivalent pack with fuji oem = 325 usd. And Wasabi offers a three years warranty.

What the -
a battery dies if the machine using its power needs more than it can deliver, i.e. low powered. Make sure to get proper specced ones.
Great review. I ordered Wasabi.
