Not a fan of the facecams, to be honest. Regarding Frake's people, she sent a team down before you to try to repair the system, but they haven't reported back. Most likely they got themselves killed, considering all the Order troops and crystalisks in the way. On a constructive gameplay advice note, Ped's either going to have to start washing or else wear a hazmat suit all the time if he doesn't want to suffer some pretty nasty debuffs. Not yet, but you're approaching the point where hygiene starts mattering beyond some enemies having an easier time spotting you or as an amplifying factor for eating bad food. Soup and snacks have been nerfed recently to encourage the use of higher tier foods in the lategame.
I think if you jumped on a car you actually might get left behind even if it isn’t accelerating, assuming that it was going at a high speed when you jumped, because of air resistance. But this is just me guessing, I don’t know shit about physics.
I’m not talking about the air in the car, I’m talking about the air outside the car. The air in the car isn’t going to come with you when you jump above the car. I’m pretty sure that outside air will have some effect, because otherwise why is the air so noticeable when opening a window while moving quickly?
@@guywithrhodopsin In order to jump in a car it either needs to be a convertible or a box van. In a box van there would be no air resistance because the air is moving with you in the cabin. If its a convertible there would be some air resistance pushing you, depending on if your pose maximizes surface area and vehicular speed. Takes some considerable wind speed to move a person tho.
I didn’t think that a van would count as a car. I was assuming it was a convertible, or maybe just a normal car with a big openable sunroof. Having just Googled, apparently it takes wind speed of around 40-50 mph to move a person. Assuming the car is moving against the wind on a motorway, that seems very achievable.
