The 80’s were the best of times!! The music, clothes, hair and communication with each other!! Glad I was part of it!! Wish part of it could just return.
You can see even then in the video how they were already starting to infiltrate and corrupt the music industry with the Africans. In the Old Testament the Liberals infiltrated the Jewish religion and had a fake Son of God that was half African and half Jewish that was their agenda to corrupt the religion it caused the downfall of Israel and Judah and he enslaved and used whips on white people to build satanic temples. That's why there had to be a new testament because the Old Testament was corrupted in the Bible even says so . The Bible says not to even associate or intermarry with them because they will destroy your culture. Whenever you see that happening you know that they are trying to infiltrate and corrupt the culture. The Jewish religion supports this that is their agenda.
Don;t know why, maybe it's the audience, dancers, but this is 100% representative of the vibe of that time to me.
We will never get these special times again

I'll go I was 26 when I first heard this song: 1984. Very hot summer LA Olympics California. Things were bad for a while, but they got better. Very evocative song. I will never forget it! 😌

In 80's /89 all was new every day and months....punk, new wave, romantic white funk, rap, black funk, mods, gothic, reggae, dub...and it was fantastic 'cause we loved all...The bananarama was the girls next door we dated 'cause we had the look and we were young and beautiful...80's was a big party...i was 20 and now i'm so sad for the new generation with covid....hope they'll move crasy...for all of us!!!

Da hat man sich noch auf das wesentliche konzentrieren können :) Was für eine tolle Zeit mit sauguter Musik und diese Zeit wünsche ich meinen Kindern, damit sie diese Unbefangenheit auch mal genießen können.
In 1983 I was a 21 year old died-in-the-wool soul boy and this song was my guilty pleasure at the time. Now in my 50s I don't need to hide that fact any more. What wasn't a secret in those days was how much I had the hots for Sarah Dallin! Fantastic song and still their best to this day in my very humble opinion

Girls wore baby doll dresses, we all had puffy hair, keyrings and t-shirts printed with photos that faded in the wash.
We were young, thin, with smooth, glowing unwrinkled skin, and most of us had hair.
God I miss the 80’s! Skateboarding in Philly going to Punk Shows listening to New Wave and Hip Hop…shopping at thrift stores…buying Air Jordan’s amd trashing them in a week skateboarding

I just happened to be in England in for the summer in 1983 visiting from California and remember this song completely taking over the airways- BBC, along with The Police’s Every Breath You Take.

I was born in 83 so my knowledge of Bananarama is limited. But I know if I was able to, these ladies would have been my Spice Girls. It’s so chaotic and nonchalant, that it’s actually pretty cool. And having discovered their back catalogue, they deserve all the accolades they have.

My girlfriend Karen from Brogan Cadillac and I went to the rink in Bergen County NJ we always skate at. While
we were there we met some of Karen's closest friends. Thes girls were very pretty and AWESOME on roller
skates!!! Karen introduced me to them and we all hung out together!!! I stayed incognito and checked out how
good Karen's friends were at skating. These girls were every bit as good as Karen said they were. They were in
for a MAJOR surprise!!! I sat down and Karen and her friends went out on the skate floor!!! This song started
to play and I got powered up real QUICK!!! I said to myself " Time to hand out a skate lesson!!! I got out on
the skate floor and dropped the clutch!!! I got in the middle of the skate floor and told Karen and her friends
" This is how it's DONE"!!! I did the New England shuffle and uncorked every move I knew I cleared the skate floor
and my moves went into OVERDRIVE!!!! Karen and her friends were in SHOCK!!! They joined me on the skate floor
and we brought the HOUSE DOWN!!!! We got done and everyone was cheering so loud the whole building SHOOK!!
Karen's friends were crying and SCREAMING " Where did you learn to SKATE"!!!! Karen then told her friends I was a
skating champion in Maine and I am a Pro-Roller Skater!!!! Later I teamed up with Karen and her friends and we put
on a Pro - Roller skating show!!!!
