If you're equipped, just go through the main hole
God solid foundation, we have pulled a few out of some places out there.
Looks like a fun trail! Great video!
Thanks! 👍 it’s a great place to wheel.
Need to be 4x4 in this trails or 4x2 with some 35 tires is just fine ?
Yep- sometimes it's deep other times it's just fine. The creek crossing has a good solid base so it's not like you would get stuck. Now after that..... the trails gets less maintained.
Long time ago we hunted down south of where you are around the area out B line highway west out by Prat and Witty. This sure brings back memories at 67 it sure nice to see the swamps again. My dad built the bridges through Alligator Allie like I said it was more then a minute ago.
Thanks for your video an old Florida cracker
Sure thing, we did get to talk with one of the Barber family members out there. Ida Bass Barber wrote a book called Florida's Frontier. A colorful store to read on the area history. amzn.to/3iZSrvU
This one would have been fun to check out. Oh well I suppose. Ended up making my own fun while down here. I know your red 2 door is a manual. Do you ever get any "throw out bearing rattle"? We replaced my clutch right before I left to come down here. And my mechanic must not have left the throw out bearing springs tight enough that hold it onto the clutch fork. So mine rattles slightly in neutral with the clutch pedal depressed. Now I'm nervous about doing any extra driving with it
Some times it rattles while at a red light. It was all rebuilt a few years ago.
@@FloridaJeepRides yeah I plan on rebuilding mine again once I get pack to my shop in PA. I ordered a new fork and pivot ball. I just pray it makes it home in one piece and not on a flat bed. I did research and everything I read said it's more of a neusance then anything serious at least for a while. Of course being far from home all noises are concerns. Do you have a local shop you trust just in case I wind up needing one? We're staying near kissimmee
You have a nice family first of all!! I really enjoy it when you meet new friendly people!! Is this a campground? How's it kind of looks like one!! I like it when you go to the puddles and it makes a big splash on each side of the vehicle!! You all have a nice day or evening where are you from!! Your fan! 🙂☕🚙✌️✌️👋🙏🥜🥜🥜🥜🌮🌮🌮
There is some areas to camp in the very beginning generally around hunting season. When small game season opens in January it's not quite as crowded. That's the only time of year that you can drive through the swamp.
And later…. We’re going to get attacked by alligator’s while winching…!!! Lol
I have seen them out there
Wow! Tell me more about that sexy TrailHawk! 😂
It was so much fun, thank you for letting us tag along!
Can’t wait for the full video! 😊
Our pleasure so glad to share some cool rides with new friends.
Did you get any water in the Trailhawk? That looked like a blast. I would love to bring mine out.
We have a 99 WJ Cherokee 4.7 L with Quadra Trac 2, 4’’ lift on 32’’ tires. Can’t wait to start riding some trails with it.
We just did a ride with a Cherokee.
Where is this located? This doesn't look like a trail for a stock wrangler?
This is Bull Creek - it is a WMA and this part is only open to vehicles in January and February of each year. The rest of the area is serviced roads with a scenic view. Some cool history in the area as well.
Up until you explained the paint, I thought these crazy people were driving around in a swamp. I'm from Louisiana, and you wouldn't make it 10' until you lost your truck. There is no mud on the tires. Is the bottom sand??? I'm moving to Florida at the end of the year, and I can't wait to do these trails.
The trail is hard pan sand and lime rocks. No getting stuck. After the two creeks the hole are a different story.
@@FloridaJeepRides that's awesome
Id love to join you one day when I'm down that way.
We usually do this ride sometime very early in January when they open up the small game trails watch the Facebook page around the end of December for an announcement that those trails are open. That probably means we're going out
Great video! Trying to find on their website I can do this same trail… would you happen to know? Tia
This is trail 3 in Bull Creek. It's only open in January and the first part of Small Game season.
@@FloridaJeepRides I’d love to ride with yal. I’m in a bronco though 😬 do you have a date planned already
Lots of water out there right now. Sad we missed out on this one. Hopefully we will be better before the next time.
I love the footage of the owl 🦉.
It let us just walk right up to the tree it was on and film.
@@FloridaJeepRides so cool 😎
what do you do about your diff breather tubes?
I bought a roll of tubing and extending them to the top of the tub area.
Water lines on the trees show levels of water
That helps - it can get deep at times.
Hopefully you went to the cemetery
Yes we have- several other videos have footage. We also got to talk to a Barber family member once. The stories he told were pretty interesting to listen to.
How about them DAWGS! Back to back!
Congratulations
🤮
Look like cemetery rd
There is the one to the north and a second to the south west. Never found how to get to the second.
Very creepy!
We are looking forward to going back in January. Probably about the middle of the month.
What a great trail! How often do you check your diffs for water?
When we do several water crossings we check them. I open the full cap to inspect the color. If it’s milky at all, we will change it.
Mizell
I did get to talk with some people from the Barber family, I would love the opportunity to talk with somebody from the Mizelle family.
They layed FortDrum calcite on the ground, that’s why it has some grip. Old clams when Florida was under water. Clams died & crystalized. Yellow like honey
Well it works really good, I wish they'd fill the hole at the end that's the only really deeper part.
Thank you for sharing this. I think this might be my favorite one yet. On the list. The wife n I will be in Florida for the end of May.
PM us when it’s getting closer
I would have loved to do this one. Keep me in mind for the next trip 😁
Sounds good! Next up for us is Judd preparation.
@FloridaJeepRides I'm down. I'm doing jeeping with judd but I'd be up for prep too
@@FloridaJeepRideslove the content you seem like a good group. id love to run my 🌮 out there with you guys, I'm located up in ocala bout 2 hours from bull creek. Love all the water crossing
This is super cute. My wife and girlfriend would love this.
Its only open in January and February each year. The rest of the WMA is open year around.
Oh man I wish I knew you guys were going to Bull Creek maybe I could’ve met you there. That’s close to my home. had my 2017 JK for about 2 years now. For Christmas I was able to put my Fab Fours bumper and a Badlands winch on. I love it!!
I’m very new to this can someone please tell me the best tires for this Florida Swamp life? Mine are 33X12.50R20LT……
Thanks in advance to any responses
Glenn
Sounds like a good ride Bull Creek is a pretty easy ride and there is a tree that tells you about how deep it is. You just want to stay to the center. I don't think I've ever seen it deeper than 2 feet. But it's also not gonna be open for too much longer.
@@FloridaJeepRides I appreciate the info! I’m running 33’s and no lift. What is a good tire for Florida? Thanks much!
It’s fort drum calcite on the base of roads. Old clam shells broken up
It makes for a easy ride:
We are looking to visit Bull Creek most likely during the winter months. When is it usually a good time when the water level isn't too deep.
We tend to go on the first day of small game around January 1st.
@@FloridaJeepRides Thank you
Hey! We got the video up! Woohoo!
Thanks again for letting Us tag along! My kid still lights up when I talk about it. 😅
Super glad you guys had a great time. That little trail. Hawk is an awesome off-road vehicle as well as highway.
Great video once again. How is your radio antenna hooked up, I noticed there was a wire disappearing under the hood?
It is hooked right to the battery on all three Jeeps….. the new one will be the same.
Would it be possible to link your Gaia map for this trail?
www.gaiagps.com/public/Z53OYqxh2Cx2i1j6qWBeFKEU
The wma is used to control water flow into the the river east of there. Jane green crk is the exit of water from the property. There is a gauge that tells depth and water flow.
Thanks a lot of good information in the comments. I look forward to riding this trail each year. But we do go out the Bull Creek on a regular basis. The graveyard has some pretty cool stories as well as the whole feud that went on there.
I use it to determine if I will drive to this property
I have never seen it too deep, but often its a bit more dry in January.
Is great I find this video I just purchased my first rubicon and this place is 40 min from home crazy to learn that
They may have closed trail 3 for the season. Check before you head out that way.
@@FloridaJeepRides thanks 🙏
I live in Brevard county and I'm learning about offloading. I'm game to join if you want a new guy
Watch our facebook page - we are heading to Citrus sometime this month.
@FloridaJeepRides no jeep sorry just a rebel 1500
Wonderful trail thanks guys!
Our pleasure!
Awesome trail ride! Where/When is the next one?
We are going to be getting ready for Judd over the next month and a half. But it would be good to ride the small game trails one more time.
Very cool trail. Thanks for sharing.
You bet
It’s one of the best in this area
The last night ride there was a gator in the water. Cool stuff to see.
That owl is beautiful!
We have seen that in the same area in the past. It’s in the little Creek portion of the ride.
👍👍👍👍👍, Looked like a lot of fun!!
Thanks It has a good solid bottom, we never had anyone get stuck in the creek parts, the mud holes are a different story.
So beautiful
I love natural Florida, been part of my life since I was in elementary school.
