Many people blame UA-cam for making them buy what they don’t need. I’ve heard UA-camrs say they buy to support their channel, which is not sustainable. I try to be careful and buy only what I love, whether it’s popular or not. It is common sense, not a trend. Unless it’s trendy to be sensible? 😊.
Thank you for this video! I personally think strong reactions usually bring about drastic decisions and behaviours which eventually we regret or backtrack on. Everyone has the option and freedom to think and act as they wish, as long as they don't hurt others in the process however my personal experience tells me that pausing, reflecting and being measured about decision making is usually a good strategy.
I agree with all your points. I do feel guilty spending so much. I even had a phase when I bought so much makeup, I mean boxes of make up piled up in a room…boxes of lip products - gosh it’s embarrassing!!! and I’m not even an influencer or makeup artist. Then I hopped over to skincare because I noticed the changes on my skin and cannot keep up with makeup trend… Then now having kids, where hormones are constantly changing and skincare has finally been consistent. Then finally….I think this is my last draw of addiction 😂…. I feel guilty spending so much money on handbags, especially recently. And to be honest, I don’t even watch much Influencers about handbags to even be influenced… But now I’m watching everyone’s unboxing to make myself feel better. 😂 There’s really not enough reason to justify it…but I think, I did most of those spendings because of “midlife crisis” I felt like I was chasing money since I was 17…working hard and finally being able to be where I am now and I felt that I didn’t get to experience the things I wanted…or what I think I wanted. But I tell you now… I’m not browsing for any handbags at the moment… I am waiting on a pre-order bag from DUYP (which is not very expensive but oh so great quality brand) You can Pre-judge me for that. 😂😂😂
Caitlin never specifically credit this event, but I’m an avid watcher and she did cover a health scare (some form of reproductive cancer like breast cancer or uterine cancer) and I think that must’ve contributed at least a little bit. Especially after hearing Niki Sky attribute her children as part of her reason. I think we’ve seen a lot - economic downturn, health issues, and theft! Tamara has not slowed down but so many discuss her case of theft as to why they don’t feel good out and about with their luxury goods.
Tamara is a model so it's part of her job that's why she can sustain it even after the theft. Most lux youtubers are just doing it at home as part of their hobby, young professionals, moms, lux collectors. It can put a strain in your finances if you try to keep up. Tamara got gifted a lot and for sure considerable discounts and access to hard to get items. I'm just happy for the girl. For us lux lovers, let's just be happy for each other. It's not a crime to get the lux bags that we love or want or even change our minds and sell and buy something else.
Great video. I agree with you. Times are changing. We went a little overboard and now we are trying to find a new normal. ❤
🥰 exactly I agree ☝️ thanks for stopping by and watching friend! 💕 love your takes as well!

I was in my small bag era in 2021 and 2022, but now i have a toddler, so it is back to crossbody bags so my hands can be free.
Exactly ☝️ have to do what’s right for you 💕
