    I have items I will package and ship direct and items I will drop-ship from out of state. Is it possible to setup two different custom shipping rates? Thank you

      HI! Thank you for contacting us. In case there are both dropshipping and non-dropshipping products, it is necessary to create own shipping methods (i.e. not ones belonging to dropshipping company), here are guides on how to add such shipping methods: support.ecwid.com/hc/en-us/articles/5287146691740-Initial-shipping-and-delivery-setup-in-Ecwid#step-3--proceed-with-setting-up-a-shipping-method
      When these methods are created, it is necessary to specify which methods should be used for all products, here is how it can be done: support.ecwid.com/hc/en-us/articles/5287232121116-Product-specific-shipping-methods
      If any questions arise when setting this up, please, feel free to let us know about these questions at ec.support@lightspeedhq.com or by starting a live chat - we will be happy to address the questions :)

    Greate tutorial, but what i would like to know is what if you are doing dropshipping which business address would you use? Obviously you won't want to use your home address neither your suppliers address.

      Hello, thank you for your question! If you don’t have a physical business address or do not wish to use your home address as the company address, you can just put your dropshipping address instead. You may use in the city and state of the country of the dropshipping company you’re with. Just in case, here you can learn more about filling in the Company address: support.ecwid.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017059699-Configuring-general-settings-for-your-store#company-name--email-and-address

    when i set the shipping to US at the checkout stands 0€, but i set it to 1,99€. My store locals in germany and i am doing dropshipping. so for germany i said 0€ shippingcosts but for us i want 1,99€. But when i set this with your tutorial, he shows me at the checkout, that shipping to us is free. Also he changes the prices for my products. The product that costs 9,99€ is now at 8,39€, why? (edit: the pricechange is when i add the shipping out of germany, then the price is changing from 9,99 to 8,39)

    Hi, what plan do you need to set up a custom rate, can u use a free plan?

    • @EcwidTeam
      @EcwidTeam  9 місяців тому +1

      Hi! Can you please clarify if you are referring to setting up prices for your products? Basically when you create an online store you can add your own products to it and set up your own prices. Ecwid itself doesn't interfere with the prices you sell the products for. So you can add the products and sell them for your own prices on any plan, including the Free one. Just in case, feel free to check more details on setting up your store in the article: support.ecwid.com/hc/en-us/articles/360008502999-Getting-started-with-Ecwid

      Yes, you can set up the custom shipping rates in the store on any plan, including the Free plan. Please check the instructions in the article: support.ecwid.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000031040-Custom-rates-based-on-subtotal-or-weight

    Yeah great but how do I set shipping rates by state?

    • @EcwidTeam
      @EcwidTeam  8 місяців тому

      Hi there! Thank you for contacting Ecwid. You can create several shipping methods with different rates and assign destination zones to them. In this case, customers from different states will see corresponding rates at checkout. Refer to our guide to learn how to set it up: support.ecwid.com/hc/en-us/articles/207100279-Adding-and-managing-destination-zones Also, here is a link to the video guide: ua-cam.com/video/tSdqToWeTlU/v-deo.html

    How can i set shipping charge based on distance? If the distance is 1 km, the price is 7 inr & if the km is 2, the price will be 14 inr & so on ...

      Hi,
      In your Ecwid store you can create several shipping methods. Each method can have its own price and apply to one particular shipping zone.
      At checkout, when a customer enters their shipping address, the system detects which zone this address belongs to and then the customer will see only the methods that work for their address.
      So, in your case you can create several methods with its own price for each zone on map. Feel free to check more details at support.ecwid.com/hc/en-us/articles/207100279-Adding-and-managing-destination-zones#-adding-a-shipping-zone-using-google-map
      If you have any questions along the way, please let us know at ec.support@lightspeedhq.com - we will be glad to help!
