While Love never dies isn’t my favourite, I dislike it majorly for its treatment of Raoul, ( Who’s such an adorkably devoted and determined character in the first one, becoming a good-for-nothing drunkard seems very out of character.) And Christine’s fanfiction-y affair with Erik, ( which made Christine seemed very scummy. Can you blame Raoul for being drunk all the time when his wife _on their wedding night!_ had an affair with her stalker kidnapper?) I really liked the development given to meg and Madame Giry. It makes sense that the two of them would be bitter, ( although Giry helping Raoul defeat Erik in the first one is unexplained.) This asmr was awesome, and you’d make a very good meg!

Thank you. And i absolutely agree, with all of that. It does seem a bit fanfic like and doesn't compare to the original play. I believe my favorite would be meg and the phantom's little relationship. While that in itself is what makes it so fan fiction like, it still makes me a little. happy? Either way, at this recent convention my friend and I cosplayed Erik and Meg as a couple cosplay. We had loads of fun and the pictures are adorable.
